  • "once saved always saved" is true. But this man was never truly saved. Many will stand before god and say "Lord Lord..." and he says "I never knew you."

  • Good tree can not bear bad fruit, bad tree can not bear good fruit. Everyone needs to valuate whether they are in the faith. Whether they are in the relationship and not man made religion. God hates religion, he loves relationship, he is our creator and father. So, do we go to him in a religious way or like a child goes to his father. Are we bearing His fruit or this world. Choice he has given, one must make. One need to be sure without any doubt, for the Spirit of true does not lie.

  • Once saved always saved is the biggest lie preached and believed in the Church today. People need to quit believing any and everything just because a Preacher says it and open up the Bible and read what God says for themselves.

  • What a stupid video. You cannot say this so-called OSAS is a lie because one crazy guy killed some people. His church CLEARLY didn't teach him well.

And how do we know those who commit Suicide dont inherit Salvation? A bunch of assumptions is all this video is.

  • agreeed the murderer was not saved, we know them by their fruits, murder is not a fruit, he never had salvation so he never lost it. For if he were saved, he would have not done this.

  • you know I really wonder ab all of these people who make videos pointing fingers at everyone else and scrutinizing their "doctrine" ,,,it seems like PRIDE & BOASTING,,,we are not saved by works lest any man should boast and yet these people attack everyone and pick apart every word ,,ITS ALL,PRIDE ,,,Worry ab your OWN doctrine stop pointing fingers at others make sure your doctrine is sound ,,,it all makes me sick to see Christians nit picking and arguing at each other like this -REPENT!

  • I believe that Eternal Security is true, infact more true than the perseverance of the saints.

  • the only thing im sure is that we must persevere till the end. we cannot take a rest in christian life. this is a daily battle.

  • All wrongdoing is sin, there is sin that does not lead to death & there is a sin that leads to death (hell). 1 Jn 5:16-17 If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment & the FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.Trample under foot the sacrifice of the Son of God, insult the Spirit of grace & find It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb 10:26-

  • Absolutely-Jesus said He would Blot their name Out of the Book of Life, it would have to exist there to be 'Blotted Out'. They act as though, when Christ said He would remove their lamp stands, in Revelations, it is a "time out' of some kind. God says a man will serve only ONE master, loving one and hating the other. Suicide is the Ultimate REJECTION of God in ones life, His help, or His presence. Which is why it is one of satans favorites in Islam, Instant HELL

  • you will know them by their fruits, once save always is a cliche, if you are truly born again, you will not commit sin as a way of life, holiness unto the lord, without the spirit working in your life you are lost. we know those who are saved, they do the will of God,and love their neighbor, men who teach that you can do evil and still be saved, are not saved themselves.

  • 1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not (practice) sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot (practice) sin, because he has been born of God. planning out the murder alone shows the Spirit of God did not abide in this man! Matthew 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

  • What is the incentive NOT to sin, if no sin will send you to hell after you have said the sinner's prayer?

  • @rosemarykelley100

Your incentive is you being uncomfortable with doing sin. You dont have to expect to gain or avoid anything. And by the way, eternal torment is a Satanic lie.

  • Purgatory! The Catholic Answer to Eternal Security! :-D

  • You did right in putting up the excerpts from Paul Washer's sermons, but u r totally wrong in saying that murderers cannot go to heaven and in saying that once-saved-always-saved is wrong (It is correct my friend)

  • OSAS - Lie from Satan. Repent and follow Jesus and be saved!!

  • @clankford2 I would be very careful if I were you, to say that this is a lie from satan when it's very obvious from Scripture that when God, in His mercy really saves someone and they are truly His, He will never let them go.

A true follower of Christ will never walk away, because God's grace keeps him.

We ourselves had nothing whatsoever to do with our salvation, it was grace and an eternal gift from God eventhough we most certainly did not desverve it.

  • @merita87able Did you have to believe upon Christ to be saved? Can a person be saved, if he is not a BELIEVER? Will JESUS DENY those who deny him?... Will he cut off the branches that bear not fruit, and cast them into fire?

  • A Saved Christians lives no longer Galatians 2:20 they have been crucified and the Holy Spirit of God lives in them! Would God enjoy Sin!? No! He would hate it and declare Holy War against it! And the preachers today that condone sin in your lives as if it was a misshap should be rebuked off the pulpit for they speak and not the Living Word of God by the Holy Spirit of God in them!

  • amen! keep it up ! stronger and stronger

  • @SadMemories123 Read Romans, Entire book is about salvation by Grace and not works but if you are truly saved your works will show it. We don't do works to earn grace but to show that we love God.

  • @SadMemories123 I assume when you say imputed you mean confessed... If your trying to justify a reason to live in sin your an enemy of God.

  • @SadMemories123

2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

  • Comment removed

  • I think Paul Washer does believe Once (TRULY!) Saved Always Saved, and that those who happily go on sinning were never saved in the first place, even if at some point in their life they prayed the "sinner's prayer". However, I'm not personally convinced that OSAS is correct.

  • Obviously this video is so cut up and out of context! Look up "Can a Christian Commit Suicide? - Tim Conway to really see what Tim Believe about eternal Salvation. Why would Satan need to plot against us "Christians" when we have enough morons within the Body of Christ that fight each other and are more dedicated to their denomination than to the Kingdom of God!

  • We will be known for our love for one another. Not for our love of doctrine or even the truth... No, our love for one another. We can disagree on things, state why we believe a certain way and then be friends. God will judge and He will do it fairly. Our job is to love God and love others (James 4; Matthew 22).

    whatthehellbook . com

  • Tim Conway and Paul Washer fellowship together and they are in many ministries together. The video on Tim Conway was taken out of context and Tim Conway's view on eternal security does not give anyone a license to sin. You have slandered Tim Conway, whom if you profess Christ, would be your brother. You need to repent & get right with the Lord on this matter & Make things right with Mr Conway. If you don't believe me go to his Youtube page and send him a message and ask him yourself.

  • Now what that man did was not just sin. It was evil. Was he saved? The real question that should be asked.. Was he sane? Can an insane person think in a manner to truly believe to be saved? He was using a teaching to justify his insanity. Or, do you think he was sane? That was sanity?

  • Hold on a minute: I believe in once saved always saved BUT I know that it is a sin to take a lif.e Exodus Chapter 20.verse 13. "Thou shalt no kill." -- If a person really reads Gods Word and LOVES God,they wouldn't go against God and His Word. This guy that shot these women obviously was not saved.

  • This is a horrible video, No where does true eternal security preachers at all say anything about you can live an immoral lifestyle and still go to heaven. why don't you play the whole video of tim connway? why have snippets? Furthermore it does not give you a licence to sin. Works did not save me nor works can sanctify me only by the sheer power of God that we are declared right with him and are secured by his hand!

  • God says that those who are truly saved will never regret their salvation and turn their back on God (2 Co 7::10).

  • Paul Washer, sir, please tell me what Paul meant when he said the following?

you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. (1Co 5:5).

Paul Washer is a Calvinist who believes that only the elect are saved and that their performance, subsequent to their irresistible regeneration, is the evidence of their salvation. Can the elect lose their salvation? Nope! Their salvation is secured by their own perseverance.

  • @lessingtom "may" is a word that sticks out to me in the scripture you referenced above. "may" is not an absolute, the original Greek doesn't present it as an absolute either. Paul Washer isn't a Calvinist, because a Calvinist believes in 5 points, a major one being LIMITED Atonement. Paul Washer doesn't hold to limited atonement, and does not hold to the Westminster or Dort. Also, no one "loses" salvation. People throw it away however. Rev 22:19 - God will remove their part from the city.

  • @athames100

Paul Washer isn't a Calvinist and yet he believes in election? Please watch "I don't understand election" Paul Washer answers, on YouTube. Election equals (T)otal Depravity (Washer believes this), (U)nconditional election (Washer blieves this), (L)imited atonement (you can't believe in election if you don't believe this), (I)rresistible grace (you can't believe in election if you don't believe this, and (P)erseverence of the saints (Washer believes this).

  • @athames100

Does Rev 22:19 refer to the book of Revelation only or to the entire Bible? (2 Tim 3:16). Aren't you taking away from the words of Jesus in John 10:28? How can He give you eternal life today and take it away the next day? That's a very strange kind of eternal life.

  • Good job on this one M. B. eternalsecurity.us is a great resource for anyone interested in learning about the doctrine, and the pillars that it is built on. God bless men like Paul Washer!

  • "once saved, always saved...if TRULY saved!!!!" (Carl Gallups)

  • one of the best video ever

  • Here's one thing- the sinner's prayer is NOT a sinner's prayer if there was no real preaching about sin and the Savior. As said, salvation is all about believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation changes one's way of life which makes believers HATE SIN- even if they are backslid. On David, he committed murder but didn't lose his salvation- rather his salvation caused David to repent of his murder.

  • the video title is deceptive. one of washer's repeated teachings is the doctrine of regeneration. a genuine believer is not just forgiven but is born again with a change in direction towards godliness. washer clearly teaches a sharp difference between one who professes a faith and one who is born again. a reasonable person could take the doctrine of security and separate it from their Lord who also teaches love for enemies and that a good tree bears good fruit but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

  • Things like this make me thank god for showing me the difference between evil and good.THANK YOU JESUS PRAISE YOU LORD

  • Paul Washer is in a wicked snare of the devil, trying to preach holiness while holding to Calvinism. The scripture teaches that you CAN be truly saved and sincere for years and then become a cast away by returning to your own vomit. Washer is a natural man who talks about things that he doesn't follow. If he truly died to himself, he would hear the Spirit commanding him to renounce "reformed theology". Don't be deceived by his half-truths.

  • not once did paul washer say a true christian can lose their salvation ..this particular preaching of washer was aimed at real or not real conversion ..as a matter of fact look up his preaching titled examine yourself ..he says directly that a true christian is eternally secure in christ

  • Whoever uploaded this is a moron, he skipped the video at 04:15 to make Conway sound like a false teacher.

  • @ElPoeta12 Conway's sermon had to be shortened to make the video fit the 10 minute range which was the limit youtube had. The "CUT" did not change Conway's message; he plainly taught that once a person is saved he can commit murder and suicide and still go straight to heaven. I didn't have to make him "SOUND" like a false teacher, he made himself sound that way, by teaching a LICENSE to sin.

  • @martinthezman I would love to see the real video, do you have the link?

  • @ElPoeta12 It was on youtube and on his website "Illbehonest". It is called Justification I think... Go ahead and watch it. Hey even write him and ask him, "If a person gets saved, can he commit murder and then kill himself and still go to heaven?".. he will reply "Works didn't get you saved, and works can't take your salvation... if he was truly saved he will go straight to heaven"...

  • @martinthezman It's true, we are not saved by works my friend. Scripture says we aren't. But about the video, I'd have to assume that it was edited in order to make Conway look wrong because I am yet to find it. If you had time to upload it, you should know where the source is from.

  • @ElPoeta12 "Give up on self- trust in Christ" is the name of it..... True, we are not saved by works, but we are saved for Good works. Good works always follows true conversion... Evil works are a sign of not not being right with God.

  • @martinthezman Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds a lot like you're claiming perfection is a characteristic of saving faith. Is that what you're saying?

  • @Hoogz20 No, perfection isn't... but a striving for perfection is. Not being satisfied with sin in our lives is, walking in holiness, and experience true sanctification is...... and of course those who live like a devil, has the characteristic of demon faith. Those who love the world, are the enemies of God. Those who continue in sin, are sinners and are of the devil... wouldn't you agree?

  • @martinthezman I agree to some degree with what you said. It is biblical but I think you're pushing it a bit with your interpretation. We need to take Scripture in light of other Scripture. I also believe that it's not up to us to judge who's saved and who isn't. We need to be able to judge ourselves and test ourselves to see if we're in the faith. We are accountable for ourselves. I don't think we can automatically declare people saved or unsaved because of a specific action or fault.

  • @martinthezman That being said I don't believe that Sodini was a true Christian but I can't make that assumption based on what he did regardless of how evil and satanic it may have been.We all fall short. I know I've done plenty of wrong things since being saved, some of which I'm not even aware of.For anyone were to pinpoint a specific unclean thing i've done and declare me unsaved is not only unbiblical but it is also foolish in my opinion. We aren't saved by works and we can't lose it by works.

  • @martinthezman Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not advocating sin and for the most part I agree with Paul Washer on many of his "controversial" points because I do believe they are biblically accurate. However, I think there's plenty of room for misunderstanding and misinterpretation of specific texts if they aren't read in the context of the entire Bible. Btw Tim Conway is a terrific pastor from what I've seen. I think you may have slightly misunderstood where he was coming from.

  • @martinthezman the problem is that a person who is TRULY saved will not commit murder, will not commit suicide; he might still make mistakes, but the Holy Spirit would not let him stray that far. Saying a prayer once will NOT saved anybody. God will saved people and work miracles in their life. Tim Conway is a good preacher yet I do not agree with him there because he is not stressing REAL salvation. God bless us all

  • @martinthezman He is referring to King David, King David clearly loved God yet murdered and committed adultery. If David died right there when he did those things, he will be justified because he trusted God and had faith. A Christian can fall, a lot of people mistake these things as so. Romans 8:1 says therefore there is no condemnation to those in Christ. Christians can fall, but they don't live in continuous and habitual sin. They may fall in the dirt, but they do not live in it.

  • @martinthezman-That's pretty bizarre considering I just left a video where he's (Conway) quite spooky in his take on falling away after being given the good news, & a Righteous man "can" certainly in extreme cases "lose it" & still not be "snatched from His hand".

I wouldn't put the Lord to the Test on that, but I certainly wouldn't put Him to the test on His words either,

Don't get me wrong, Washer may be my favorite, & he's FIRM on it, I just don't have God in a Box, Amen?

    God Bless you sir.

  • uh...you do realize that as a Calvinist, Paul Washer believes in the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints, which says that Christians can neither totally nor finally fall from grace, but WILL persevere until the end? Of course I'm not suggesting that George Sodini was saved since he shows strong evidence that he's wasn't, but you do realize that there's a difference between the Perseverance of the Saints and OSAS/ES? Be careful, b/c it's a VERY popular category mistake.

  • @payn3a91 OSAS and Perseverance of the Saint are really two drastically different doctrines. OSAS teaches once a person "Believes" he is saved no matter what even if he becomes an unbeliever. Perserverance teaches that the ELECT will not totally fall away from the faith, but will Evidence their faith through out their life. ALSO, there will be people who BELIEVE upon Christ and fall away, who thus prove they were not the elect, because they fell away. The Mark of the Elect is PERSERVERANCE

  • @martinthezman sounds like you got the concept down, I'm tired of the category mistake people make

  • @payn3a91 I am afraid it is a deadly mistake. I know of preachers who have taught ATHEISTS that they are going to heaven because as Children they once believed on Jesus. Their mistake is: They are labeling every one who has ever "Believed" or "professed Belief" the elect, and then they are giving all the promises of the elect to them. They tell them "No man can pluck you out of his hand", they don't tell them that that promise is to THE SHEEP WHO FOLLOW HIM, not to goats who run in the world!

  • con't...We're assured in Scripture that He who began a good work in us will see it to completion, and that we will be conformed to His (Christ's) likeness. Romans 8: 9-10 says that Christians have the Spirit of God living in them. "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." Put that with the Matthew verse Washer cites, "You will know them by their fruits," and you realize that true believers will lead more godly lives (though they will still sin occasionally).

  • Pls read all of this...eternal security IS biblical. See Ephesians 1:13-14. The NIV isn't my fave translation, but it's all I have available, so note where it says in verse 14 that the Holy Spirit is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance. Also see Romans 8:30, where we're promised that the justified are glorified. Also see John 10:25-30. Also, Paul Washer believes in it. What he's saying in this video (and I totally agree) is that a person who lives like he's not saved isn't saved. con't

  • Does God judge someone for killing someone IN THEIR HEART?

Does God judge someone for commiting sexual immorality with someone IN THEIR HEART AND MIND?

  • @doctorh2005 Of course. If we say we walk in the light and hate our brother we LIE and do not the truth. Do you think it is possible for mr. Sodini to be a "New creature" in Christ, filled with the Spirit, and faith and love? Would you had preached him into heaven, even though the Bible promises no murderer has eternal life? old George is a poster child for the EASY believism gospel.

  • @martinthezman

/// If we say we walk in the light and hate our brother we LIE and do not the truth ///

How many times have you had a hateful/immoral thought towards someone lately?

    Again, are you a perfectionist?

  • @doctorh2005 I try to keep my heart clean from all hateful and immoral thoughts... are you an Antenomian [anti-law]? I strive for perfection, i don't want a known sin to reside in me. I believe those who can live in wilfull sin are not right with God. I believe 1st Corinthians 6:9-10, and I believe that "No murderer has eternal life abiding in them". Do you have a problem with hatred and wrath, LUST? Tell me how much CCM you listen to a day?

  • You have a superficial view of sin - God counts HATRED and REVILING as murder.

God looks at the THOUGHTS and INTENTIONS of the HEART - not on the outside.

  • @doctorh2005 So God doesn't judge people for actually killing someone? If a person commits murder with love in his heart, God doesn't see it? Are you saying that GOD is blind to all physical activity? Do you think it is possible for mr. Sodini to be a "New creature" in Christ, filled with the Spirit, and faith and love? Would you had preached him into heaven, even though the Bible promises no murderer has eternal life? old George is a poster child for the EASY believism gospel.

  • @martinthezman

Sorry what i meant to add was that the OUTWARD actions are the result of what happens on the INSIDE - Murder on the outside always begins with murder on the INSIDE.

Tell me - are you a perfectionist, like Wesley?

  • So Paul is either saying the saved can make Christ's atonement ineffectual or they were never saved, which is it.? Because Christ's atonement cannot become ineffectual by sin regardless of its magnitude.Believers in the flesh can committ any sin, if you don't know that your a poor minister or a self righteous hypocrite.Do believers committ adultery.? So the law has division on what sin is committed after one gets saved.? Ludicrous! no man knows the heart of the guy in the video but God does.

  • @polopowers1 Let me ask you some simple questions. If we deny Christ, will he deny us?.....Does a murderer have eternal life abiding in him?... We are saved by grace through what....? Can we be saved without faith? Is it possible for a person to believe for a while, and then fall away into unbelief? Can the unrighteous inherit the Kingdom of God? Are those who practice sin, righteous? Does GOD get wearied with people who say that God sees the wicked as GOOD?.. Simple questions.

  • @martinthezman Christ willnot deny me if I deny Him. We are saved by His faith not ours. It is not possible to be fully saved bought with Christ blood and be un bought by behavior. When does a believer bought ever become un righteous.? Those who practice sin if bought will be chastized or there is a sin unto death but salvation is not dependent upon the person but God who bought them. It is not about being good it is about being bought or not being bought but if your bought you cannot lose

  • @polopowers1 You missed the first question. JESUS promises he WILL deny us, if we deny him... see 2nd Timothy 2:12 Matthew 10:33.

You didn't answer the second question: Does a murderer have eternal life abiding in him?

Nor the third question, Nor the Fourth: Can those who believe fall away after a while?

NEW QUESTION: CAN PEOPLE WHO THE LORD BOUGHT GO TO DESTRUCTION? PLEASE READ 2nd PETER 2:1 before you answer!

  • @martinthezman. Which sin is not covered by the blood after you get saved.? John is comparing a murderer with he who hates his brother. Eternal life is not in effect if you do not love your brother read context. Not loving your brother which John calls murder has no eternal life. A murderer would not have eternal life and neither would a believer who hates his brother that is the context of comparison, not that a believer cannot committ horrific sin like muder and lose salvation.

  • @martinthezman What is swift destruction for those heretics who divide with false teaching.? They are called to death for spreading a false Word. No where in conrext does it say if Christ bought by His blood you can make Christ unto God un acceptable by what you do. I bet you still sin. So your saying your repentance keeps you saved ?. So Christ to is sometimes effectual in appeasing God and other times He is not depending on your behavior, sad. The only Person satisfied in Atonement is God.

  • @polopowers1 HELL is destruction. Jesus bought them, yet they die lost. How can that be? Jesus died for the sins of the whole WORLD. But only those who receive Christ by faith are saved. How are we saved? Grace through Faith. According to the Scriptures one can believe for a while, and then fall away. ALL unbelievers will go to hell, it doesn't matter if they USE to believe or not. Jesus will deny those who deny him. Murderers do not have eternal life in them. And those who believe can fall

  • @martinthezman Destruction can be your life read 1John 5 Believers can sin unto physical death. They don't die lost they die in sin.Christ died for the elect alone. No man has power to reject God.There is no such thing as" use to believe" Your begining to lose me in your explanations. Read 1;5 John the point of emphasis is not that murderers do not have eternal life John says he who hates his brother is a murderer and you know no murderer has eternal life; is comparison not the point of murder

  • @polopowers1 Scriptures STATE plainly that these false prophets, whom the LORD had BOUGHT will be destroyed, and suffer damnation [2nd Peter 2:1-3]. Jesus said people would believe for a while! [Luke 8:13]. The APostles warned BELIEVERS against letting UNBELIEF enter their hearts causing them to depart from God [Hebrews 3:12]. John said Jesus didn't just die for the elect, but for the whole WORLD [1 John 2:2]. John said plainly "NO MURDERER HAS ETERNAL LIFE". Can I not believe the BIble?

  • @martinthezman .He can deny us in this life. But read the verse prior." If we died with Him we will live with Him" ( eternal security it is not removed in denying.) He remains faithful when we are faithless Read whole conrext .Are you saying a saved person denying Christ in vocal profession can lose salvation in Matt 10:33 Than alot of believers are lost. People don't speak for Christ often. It is not in conrext losing salvation. He is speaking to Jews under law, Christ had not yet died.

  • @polopowers1 Jesus wasn't teaching "LAW", He was teaching the Principles of his Kingdom, and the Apostles taught what he had taught them. The Law was until JOHN, from John onward the Kingdom of GOD was preached. John heard Jesus say plainly: Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven... Tell me, what did the early Church do with 'Believers' who denied and cursed Christ, burning incense unto Caesar?

  • God saves by His choice. This can be done through sinners prayers, a yell for help or however. There is no format. Because salvation is not subjective. God chooses and empowers all He elects to be saved. Washer knows this but now declares God saving is validated by signs of new life. Can a believer commit murder. The answer is yes. But it would be rare under God's wisdom for correction. The Bible also says no liar or fornicator will go to heaven, you saying all saved never lie, fornicate.?

  • PS: I love how this turned into a Calvinist/baptist bashing session, you need to read some history and see for yourself how godly Calvin was regardless of if you agree with him theologically.

  • I am truly sorry for those of you who believe that your security as a believer, and your salvation is not eternal. If you truly believe that a believer can lose their salvation I am sorry that you believe this. This is a graceless doctrine and is not grounded in scripture no matter how you twist it to fit your view. This is a works based doctrine dependent on man's will and not God's mercy and grace. Salvation is "not by works, lest any man should boast."

  • Sadly, I have to say Washer nor Conway said anything regarding one losing their salvation and never said a person could lose their salvation. If you have any other evidence that clearly says they said a saved person can lose their salvation, please show it.

  • This video makes no sense. Paul Washer PREACHES Once Saved Always Saved

  • @ACallToHoliness No Paul Washer preaches perserverance of the ELECT. Those who do not endure to the end are not going to heaven; no matter if they believed at some point in their life or not. If George's lying preacher would had told him that, maybe he wouldn't had killed those women and himself. To tell some one that if they have believed at any point in their life that they are bound for heaven no matter what is a doctrine of demons.

  • @martinthezman Question1#: According to Paul Washer, were those who will not "endure to the end", ever saved to begin with? Simple yes or no would be fine. Thank you. (If the answer is no, nevermind the 2nd question.)

Question2#: If (I said if) Paul Wahser answers "yes", doens't this mean that he believes that those who once were saved will -no doubt about it- endure to the end and stay saved? If so, doesn't this mean that in fact he believes "once saved always saved"? Thank you for your time.

  • @outofthebox7 Not sure how Paul would explain it, but I know what the Scriptures teach: That there will be people who: #1. Believe. #2 Receive the word. #3. Confess Christ as Lord. #4. Be baptized. #5. Taste the Heavenly gift. #6. Partake of the Holy Ghost. #7. Be a part of the Vine. #8 Be engrafted into the tree. #9. Know the Way. #10. Be in Grace #11 Saved. AND THEN "FALL AWAY" "FALL FROM GRACE" " CUT OFF" "WITHERED" "CAST AWAY" "REJECTED" "TURNED AWAY" "CUT ASUNDER" and "CAST IN THE FIRE".

  • @martinthezman I totally agree with you!

  • @outofthebox7 I could add "Depart from the Faith" "Depart from the living God" "Err from the truth" "Deny the Lord that bought them"... But if you lead one of these erring brothers back to the LORD,"You save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins"... Why do Baptists let their DOCTRINE blind them from the word of GOD? Why are they afriad of saying someone "FELL AWAY"??? When God uses these terms in the Scriptures?

  • @martinthezman The Presbytetians hold the same belief that you can't lose your salvation. Most Protestant denominations are infected with an open or hidden Calvinism. The Devils doing. The answer to your question I believe is:This is the power of tradition on thosea)who want to feel that safety of belonging to a majority and any cost, even by making like they don't see,b)who are not taught from Scripture but from the pulpits all their lives (although they may claim the opposite). The'remore reasons.

  • If you intentionally sin thinking that it's okay to sin because your saved. He will turn away from you as you did to him. You cannot claim to be a man of God and deliberately commit sinful acts. We all make mistakes, but there is a line between making mistakes and killing people because you don't think you will be punished.

  • @oDayton

Sorry, but that is not what the Bible teaches. God is on us all the time even when we do turn our backs on Him, He is behind us when we do that kicking our backside back into the right direction. The fact that God convicts me when I do sin is the fact I cannot lose my salvation. If God doesn't convict a sinner when he sins, then he is lost and needs to be saved. But if you believe God can drop you out of His hand (read John 10), you have made God a liar.

  • @bibleword Stumbling into sin, and turning your back on GOD is too very different things. The promise that NO MAN CAN PLUCK you out his hand is to those who HEAR and FOLLOW the Lord. PLUCKED doesn't mean dropped; and only a deceiver would apply that promise to a GOAT who does not follow the LORD in Holiness and righteousness. Do you believe that a person can believe for a while and then fall away? Do you think that Jesus Christ will DENY those who deny him? Do you really believe the word?

  • @martinthezman

That is just it. The sheep is GOING to follow the Lord and he KNOWS God's voice... any other voice is foreign to the sheep. And also the Bible says that Jesus KNOWS who is His and that we are in the hands of God. The only way for us to lose our salvation is if God would deny Himself. GOD CANNOT DENY HIMSELF NOR CAN HE LIE. Also, if we could lose our salvation we would never get it back (Heb. 6:4-6). BTW, how can a sheep transform into a goat? HE CAN'T, THEY ARE DIFFERENT.

  • @bibleword The true sheep are the ELECT, the mark of the Elect is Faithfulness and enduring to the end. There are many people who 'hear the call', who believe, who receive the word with joy, who taste the heavenly gift, who FALL AWAY in time of trial. Were they the "elect"? NOPE. Were they "saved", yes, according to Christ. God doesn't deny himself, but he will deny those who deny him. He will forsake those who forsake him. He will damn those who turn from him and die in their sins.

  • @bibleword Those who crucify Christ afresh will never get it back. That is what the Jews were doing. They were turning back to the synagogues where they had to curse Jesus. They damned their souls when they did so. We are saved by grace through faith; people can have an evil heart of unbelief to enter them and they can depart from GOD. Unbelief will damn you. You were worse than a goat you were a child of hell before Christ saved you; turn from Christ and denounce him and you will be one again.

  • @bibleword Matthew 7:21-23... “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT THE ONE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

You can receive salvation, but you can also give it up.

  • There is no test, it is only something YOU can know. If you believe beyond a doubt that Christ is your savior then you are saved. There is no test that is man-made stuff. The relationship between a human and the lord thy God cannot be determined by any man.

  • @oDayton There are a lot of people who believe that they are saved and are lost. A lot of people are going to say, "LORD LORD" and are going to hear him say, "I never knew you". The Bible says to EXAMINE yourself, and put yourself to the test. There is a GOD-GIVEN Test found in the Scriptures; and if you can't pass that test, then you need to revisit the "altar", because you are reprobate [don't pass the test]

  • @martinthezman I will not take a man made faith test. It is no mans place to judge my faith in Christ. Only God can Judge me. I believe that people receive their tests of will and faith throug trials in their life on earth. Praise God.

  • @oDayton listen to what you are saying "no man made test". You are a man and your opening statement says that only YOU(a man) can know. And you continue with "if you beleive beyond a doubt" this is a man made test! The true test comes from the word of God...you will know then by their fruits. You have created an idea about God that you are comfortable with ( a man-made idea at that) look to the scripture not sentimental statements that false churches and teachers cram down your throat!

  • I am surprised that Tim Conway believes this way. Are you sure? I love Paul washer and did not know this about Tim.

  • Can someone tell me why Jesus went to the cross to die for our sins? What does that mean if it is not that Jesus paid for the sins so we do not have to? Not everything is about whether we go to heaven. The bible offers truth about life, unparalleled by any other truth. It gives the wonderful truth about Jesus who was sinless, which is something we can never be in this life. This is enough motivation to want to live as who He identifies you as, which is sinless and justified by His sacrifice.

  • once saved always saved is true, but i wouldnt put it so simple like that. i woul say ONCE TRULY SAVED AND REGENERATED AND INDWELT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT,WASHED WITH PURE WATER AND GIVEN A HEART OF FLESH,ALWAYS TRULY SAVED AND REGENERATED AND INDWELT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT WASHED WITH PURE WATER AND GIVEN A HEART OF FLESH. so i gues the better akranim would be OTSARAIWTHSWWPWAGAHOFATSARAIWTHSWWPWAGAHOF!!! just a little harder to say is all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @peterlabrie1 i mean acronym

  • my bible study will give a person 10,000 dollars to find were it says in the bible that you go to hell for killing yourself saw killed his self and he went to heaven

  • @allyownz104 Saul did not 'go to heaven'.. He grieved away the Holy Spirit, and GOD removed his mercy from Saul. Saul died without GOD. Self "Murder" is none the less MURDER. Watch my video "Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit". The DEVILS believe and tremble all the way to hell. Many people believe the facts about the Gospel, yet do not believe upon CHRIST, nor continue to believe upon Christ. It is he that "BelievETH", it is the sheep that "FOLLOW". it is the Saint the perserveres that is saved.

  • if you have a bad child is that child still your child if that child says your not his parent is that still your child can you say to that child your not in this family no more NO because that wouldn't make no scene because that child is still your child same thing with god when you believe your born it to the family of god can you be unborn out the the family (think about how you were born in real life can you be unborn now) so the answer is NO you cant be unborn out the family

  • and im not a modern im a christen just "CHRISTEN" nothing in fount nor behind that word just believe what i read in the bible and not what people tell me

  • Revelation 21:8 starts off by saying but the cowardly, unbelieving : What that said unbelievers that are all of those things go to hell no matter what you do if you believe you go to heaven because god payed the way if i take you out to lunch and i pay for you and you take out money to try and pay for it yourself its not a gift john 3:16 for god loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believers in him should not perish but have everlasting life

  • So if someone murders some one can they still be saved? Like if someone kills someone and isn't a cristian but is saved and repents after they commit this sin, can they still go to heaven or are they going strait to hell no matter what they do?

  • @JacobEwing1 All manner of sin shall be forgiven; even murderers; who repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation. But people who ARE SAVED [who have received Christ as Lord and Savior of their life], do not commit murder, according to the Bible.

  • hmmm only problem heaven isnt real!!!

  • Pastor Paul is commig to reviver the Batista Church in the Wold. maybe the last caling.

  • well i dont know about that guy they are talking in the video is going to heaven i dont think he is but tim was not talking about this guy he was defanding the doctring of grace!!!! also john piper say that is some one comitts murderer or such thing there is a 1% he was in deed a true christian cus we are siners still! study doctrins!

  • @neil22100 According to Scriptures both murderers and homosexuals will be in hell. You need to repent and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @martinthezman How do you repent? I thought repentance was only granted by God, martin? That's what the Calvinist would say.

  • @blicksflicks Repentance is a gift of God. So is faith. God commands all men every where to "REPENT" and to "believe the Gospel".

  • @martinthezman But, how can God command everyone to repent if he must first grant you repentance? Isn't that sort of like me telling you to go fish if I grant you the use of my fishing pole? You'd ask, "How can I fish unless you give me the pole?" And, I would say, "Well, even though I won't give you a pole, I still command you to go fish." And, there's no fishing poles on earth but the one I can give you. So, how will you ever fish and obey my command if I won't give you the pole? See?

  • Comment removed

  • I believe that a serial killer who believed in christ and tried to be christ like in other areas of his life, but had a serious mental illness that was beyond his control or medical reach could go to heaven. we all sin and sin is equal. To be worldly is to be against christ.

  • wow this is a messt up vido u do know tim and paul washer preach the same thing right i have listen to them both for a long! time! /the both belive onec save alwayst save just watch alll his videos

  • @goldbergthe Can you show me where Paul Washer believes someone can commit murder and then kill themselves and still go to heaven? If you can, then you have PROOF that he is a false prophet. NO MURDERER has eternal life abiding in him. The ELECT Continue to the end. There are many who "Believe" but who fall away.

  • @martinthezman But, according to the perseverance of the saints, a person who is truly born again can't fall away. If someone falls away, that means they probably weren't saved in the first place. However, some can fall away and return to God in repentance. What about the prodigal son? That's a very good example right there.

  • @blicksflicks I think the problem lies in the words 'saved' and 'the Elect'. The Elect are those who believe upon the Lord, and follow the Lord, and perservere to the end, thus are eternally saved. When we say someone is "saved" we mean they have believed upon the Lord for salvation; this does not mean this "saved" person is one of the elect. Though he may believe sincerely with joy, he may ultimately fall away; thus proving he was not one of the elect. Example of the seed on the rocky soil.

  • @martinthezman Yeah. I have often thought about the rocky soil things, too. Those scriptures are pretty clear to me. The Word must fall on good soil, or it doesn't bear any fruit.

  • @martinthezman You need to listen to the video again. Paul Washer never said they would go to heaven.

  • @goldbergthe

Did you even watch the whole video? Sure doesn't sound like he believes "once saved, always saved." At least not in the common way it is taught.

I believe in once saved, always saved. But I also believe you need to examine yourself in light of the scriptures to know whether or not you really believe, Obviously when someone sins, they sure aren't believing in Jesus in that moment.

  • OSAS?

    I DON'T THINK SO...

1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

  • I agree that just becuase if one prays a prayer and spends the rest of his life as the devil he will be thrown into hell. however, i think that he misunderstands the teaching of most of the conservative reformed denominations. infant baptism, as he said was the golden calf of the reformation, does not assure anyone into salvation but assures them into the earthly church just as circumsicion did for the house of Isreal. sheep to the right and goats to the left. both siad "Lord" one was recieved

  • See the article WHAT LAW WAS NAILED TO THE CROSS? in my channel description which explains the differences between "the law of commandments contained in ordinances" "which is written in the book of the law of Moses" and placed "in the SIDE of the ark" (Eph. 2:15; 2 Kings 14:6; Deut. 31:26); and the law of "the ten commandments" in the "two tables of testimony" which are the "tables of stone written with the finger of God " and placed "IN the ark" (Deut. 9:10; 10:4; Ex. 25:21; 31:18; Rev. 11:19).

  • Tim believes a saved man can commit murder, adultery and then kill themselves and then go to heaven. Paul Washer and the Bible teaches that those who do such things are not right with GOD. I think it is STUPID to tell people that they can commit suicide and then go straight to GLORY. Tim is preaching the same garbage that George's pastor preached to him. People need to WAKE UP. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Baptist churches is the greatest mission field in America.

  • the question is not about once saved, always saved. its are you saved at all!! obviously mass murder is not a fruit of the spirit and yes this guy is probaly in hell right now. and that Tim Conway is not advocating murder or suicide, he is an awesome preacher just like Paul Washer, so dont just put a 30 second clip of him without putting the entire bulk of his message!!!

  • Once Saved, Always Saved does NOT give someone a "license to sin". On the contrary, if someone is TRULY SAVED, they will want to do good works, not to save themselves, but out of Thanks to God for salvation!

  • first i think this video is bs sorry the bad word but i love tim and of cors paul washer one of my favorites pastors but if u see the whole video on tim's preaching you will see that he was exalting gracie!! that we r save by gracie alone and not of our self he is a god who elects! not of our work but of him who elects and i dont relly belive a christian can comit suicide :-)

  • I love brother Tim too, but He was very WRONG when he said you can commit suicide and go straight to heaven. You are right. A true Christian who God chose before the foundation of the world to be conformed to the image of His Son, will NOT commit suicide!! So why teach otherwise? This man who did this, was decieved, mostly by his pastor, so we must take heed that we do not tell others things that the bible does not say.

  • Hail satan

  • GJ taking what Tim Conway (of Grace Community Church aka the same church you get most paul washer vids from) said out of context. Try watching the whole sermon again cause that's not what he's trying to say and he's actually one of the few pastors that preaches against the sinners prayer and preaches for genuine repentance and conversion.

Also, Mass Murderers do Go to Heaven since Jesus said if you're angry at another person you have committed murder in your heart.

  • First, find you a REAL Bible: Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment... I love Pastor Tim and Enjoy most of his sermons. But to say one can commit murder, adultery, and suicide and still go to heaven is non-sense. You can tell he doesn't really believe it himself, just look at the look on his face when he said the one who commits suicide will go straight to glory.

  • You say you love him yet you bear false witness against him and accuse him of lying? In his sermon he basically says that it is unlikely for a person who commited suicide to be a true christian, but possible for a true christian to commit a horrible sin(such as suicide) right before their death and still go to heaven. and he backed it up quite well with the bible.

also, thanks for the correction. But how can you look at Mat 5:28 yet still say adulterers can't get into heaven?

  • I didn't say it, God did. 1st Corinthians 6:9 among many other scriptures... So you think a guy can commit adultery, then kill a person, and then blow his own brains out, and yet go to heaven, unrepentant? Remember the BIble says NO murderer has eternal life. Adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God, and who ever defiles the temple God will destroy. Believe it?
