  • So skilled!

  • Had no idea there was so much hand-work in a Hofner bass - they are basically hand-built. Now if they could only update the terrible slanted control module - it looks like a Teisco or something.

  • Really interesting video.

Well done to the Hofner guys!

  • Well the only thing I can say is that your job is totally worth it. I'm buying one of those for my birthday in April

  • i want to work there, this is a job, where you need skills !

  • I want... I want them all!

  • Video 10/10 superb!

Sound track 2/10. Sorry, sounds like I'm in a shopping mall.

  • sorry but what's the song at 4:20? thx

  • @mouloudo And i love her from HDNite album

  • @tomahawke76 wow thanks

  • @mouloudo is a And i love her...

  • I muted this video and played the real Beatles songs while watching this video

  • watching this makes me respect the fine art of hand made guitars.

  • ive just finished restoring a orignal 1965 they sound a whole lot better than modern reissues. as there are no ribs inside. among other reason i love hofner shame there near impossible to get a email response

  • watching the way the frets are cut by hand and eye, no wonder the intonation on these is so bad. Beautifully made in every other respect...

  • Buenisimo!

  • I really love my Hofner bass, and it was a wonderful experience to watch how it was made with such care and craftsmanship.

  • awesome...

  • I own a original 1964 Hofner Beatle Bass. I've had it since I was 14 (1982)

I wouldn't trade it for the world. Nothing sounds like the Hofner Beatle bass from the mid 60's.

I even paid to have the neck reset. The old ones eventually need this done.

I wanted better action & I got it.

Hope you all find this comment helpful.

    Rock on Beatles!!

  • what's the purpose of a zero fret?

  • @youbuckfutter A zero fret gives you better action at the nut, because it is the same height as the frets. The nut only holds the strings in place. You also get better intonation on the lower frets because the string is not being stretched as it might with a nut adjusted too high.

  • @DavidRavenMoon thanks mate!

  • soooo perfect!! *-*

  • 14:32 The Hofner 500/1 acoustic bass xD It can be cool

  • Beautiful! And, man, i want one of these 14:24 !
