You don't have to buy eschatological,apocalyptic,or end times arguments to see how wicked this system is.Suppose for a single second that the unthinkable happens, that someone bad gets into power (please note the sardonic tone). Do you want this bad person to have this kind of power,or is it better to refrain from giving those in power this easily abused omnipotence? it really pisses me off to think that the only places Ive seen Katherine speak was in Freedom to Fascism and now this..... meanwhile the daily show and colbert report are busy interviewing nancy pelosi and the occasional author of a book about .... anything other than this, just seems completely reprehensible

That's why we have to work harder. They (those in charge) have put into place a huge propaganda machine that is hard to break the influence of. The media is owned. and although the daily show, I would say has degrees of real truth, they are relegated to comedy. therefore it is not taken seriously.

We have to pass interviews like this around ourselves and become our own media. Tuff task given that many refuse to wake up.

A lot of people around college age take the daily show/colbert report more seriously than the news, not to say they don't see the comedy, but just that somehow those shows offer truly "alternative" views. All the while jon stewart and steven colbert subtly push the false left/right thing to a generation that would otherwise be very into this kind of stuff (RFID). I guess theres a great opportunity for any up-and-coming comedians out there: be the truthteller stewart/colbert/maher wish they were

Oh, I do agree with you.I just think it's amazing that there is more truth in comedy than in mainstream news.I am hopeful that people that are connecting that Jon Stewart is bringing up important points, that they remember that after the laughs they really keep in mind that it is important and really not a laughing matter. remember that all the conveniences that are out there like the star trek door opening when approaching and stuff like that can be had without a chip being planted in them. :)
