I remember Quantum Leap when it was originally on. It's interesting how the style of sci-fi dramas have changed in such a short time from when Quantum Leap ended in 1993 and when Doctor Who came back on in 2005. Quantum Leap episodes were like a short modern history lesson in that often history was not used as just 'background stuff' but an integral part to the human story being played out such as when Sam leaps into an old black man during the 'civil rights' movement!
