The headers aren't hard to install just time consuming bro! I thought it'd be a pain in the ass but once you remove the aluminum cover on the manifold take off the coolant lines above the manifold and go to town on the bolts lol get a good ratchet wrench you'll need it it's a 14 mm if I'm not mistaken and a 13 to take off the aluminum manifold cover

I know this video is from 09 but do you remember having any issues with installing? and did you feel like you lost power? because the stock headers are known to be good enough just like the stock intake.

@HondaNSXk As for the headers, the HR comes stock with headers and ive heard of people losing power with aftermarket ones. The VQ might be a different story.

I dont understand what you are saying. All cars have headers, they are kinda necessary to connect an exhaust to the engine. Also, all 350Z's have VQ motors.

Pre- 2006 = VQ35DE

2006 = VQ35DE (Rev Up)

2007+ = VQ35HR

@ncsugray90 The DE motors do not have stock headers, they have an exhaust manifold. The HR motors come stock with headers. I had meant HR when i said VQ. And no, headers and exhaust manifold are not the same.

@Duryiel The tips stick out because its one of the first HKS prototype exhausts... They adjusted the mounted holes afterwards. I can still push them in, but I like the way they look sticking out!
