Most of the fighters (apx. 75%) were romanian, not german. Anyway, in 1944 ,over romanian sky in a bombardment day flies more than 300 B 17 and B 24, with at least 300 P 51 Mustang and P 38 lightening as escort fighters. The opposite force- the brave romanian pilots, with no more than 30-40 fighters, IAR 80/81 and BF 109 G6

Yeah, that was a bomb falling through that plane's wing. I slowed the footage down when I saw it on TV before, and I could see a bomb falling through it.

The "enemy" being "driven into the ground" at 11:46 are actually a pair of US Army Air Corps aircraft that collided with each other on a close air-support mission.
