Very beautiful mod but They had to circulate the simple Arma 2. I have only Arma2 but I downloaded this mod and read it. But when I went to play in Omaha Beach and other maps presented a message saying "No optical Models" and I deleted.Should I get and operation Arrowhead to play MOD?

i finally got the Mod to work and all i can say is guys Great Job!! I would have payed money for this mod. As RO1 player disappointed in RO2, this is fantastic. i never heard of ARMA before. I hope you will work the Ardennes into the Mod with uniforms and terrain. I think if you released this on Steam, you could make money on your hard work and there would be more players. Am a Red Orchestra player but many of us are disappointed with RO2. Also many of us want Darkest Hour to upgrde. But your Mod is that upgrade and more.

If this game was offered on Steam, alot more folks would see it and i for one would buy it if they took care of the hassle of the installation and the upgrades.

@44 folder into operation arrowhead and i manged to get it enabled but all i have is the is the omaha map in the editor when i relaunch it after enabling it note this is the steam version and i downloaded 2.51

Hows the combat?

I played Forgotten Hope a BF2 mod. Big mod actually. And i found these "realistic" mods fail to deliver realism when it comes to aiming. 1000s of round can be exchanged in real life and no one can be hit. In mods its pew pew dead. To make things worse its travel for 5 minutes and just get shot out of no where and dead. Theres never the exchange of a fierce firefight. Just a few seconds and its over.

So no fun and no realism. Horrible way to play a game. This any different?

@grove12345 ArmA cannot be compared to BF2 and other games. It is a totally different experience, very realistic so you have to know that you enjoy realism, and not just the idea of it.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the 1944 team for making this mod, it's by far the best Arma 2 mod I've ever used and it feels like I've just bought a whole new game. One thing I would like to see in any upcoming updates would be winter units for Wehmacht/SS and Red Army. That would add a whole new perspective to it.

@theorangebox999 Yes, if you own both games you should run it in combined operations mode the whole time anyway to get the best experience. Do you have the games on DVD or from Steam/Digital distribution? If you don't use steam, just get an ArmA 2 launcher to run it, or google another way.

@repulic5 If you are in charge of them then you have a hell of a lot of control. You can select them all for example and then press 7 for 'combat mode' commands, then select 'stay crouched' or 'stand up', but it is better to set them to 'copy my stance' on top of 'stay alert' or 'danger' to adjust their general behaviour, in stealth mode they are very effective but will have trouble keeping up with a fast player.

no entry '.modelOptics.' Game is crashing on a I44 missions, in editor I couldn't play due to this error. I'm using mods like WarFX and SLX, but everything works fine without I44...

@FaqYouTB Try running only I44 and CBA. The mod is not designed to work with any other mod. So if you do use another mod alongside I44 there may be problems.

@Invasion1944 I figured it out (again), looks like that something is wrong with CBA in my case and this SLX. I disabled SLX once more and reinstall CBA, now I don't have this error with missing optics, but game still crashes on I44 SP missions, maybe other mods causes this like WarFX maybe...eh.

@FaqYouTB v2.5 has only been tested with stock Combined Operations v1.59. Any beta patches used since the official CO 1.59 patch, or any other mod you use in conjunction with I44 can not be guaranteed to work. Perhaps you have addons in your main addon folder(not in an addon folder) that is causing conflict?

1. How do you use your bayonet?

2. Why is there such a ridiculous recoil from all the weapons, it makes shooting rather difficult?

3. Why does the .50 cal MG not have a bi-pod? Wouldn't it be hard to shoot that thing unsupported?

2. my great grandfather told me that he has trouble shooting his thompson so he had to get in a prone or kneeling position to fire or rest the weapon thats what i do in ArmA 2 so i have to no trouble

@TheBigHase And u know what I did for fun: I let German Troops of WW 2 fight in Normandy against modern USMC with Apache and Abrams - and u know what the so called "old" weapons are damned good against modern ones ! Awesome how advanced the technology of WW 2 was. Btw I noticed that tracks of Hanomag are not moving only the wheels. But my first impressions are that u are doing an awesome job - one day I will send all my other wargames in retirement - I thnik this will be best WW 2 game ever!

Google that devise reset code, it might lead you nowhere useful but much of the time you will find a link to a forum where someone is describing a similar problem. Make sure - your A2 and OA are patched with the latest official patches; your video card driver is up to date; your CBA is up to date; you don't have other mods or addons running that might conflict. Describe the crashes in more detai

@7th75thCallaghan U may not believe this but I have even been in contact with the BIS - people themselves and have been beta testing as well and also report errors and follow the community etc.. I have heard about this prob a lot and dunno if it can be solved. Maybe my PC is too weak overall but some say it isn't... A better performance of the game for not so strong PC is actually my biggest desire for the incredible ArmA 2 / OA.
