Red Eye is a late night cable program on Fox News. This award program aired primetime on FOX, which is a major network channel that is regulated by the FCC, which required (the policy was struck down in 2010) expletives to be censored. FOX has actually fought the FCC.
Come on, even I hate Fox News and think they are biased, but this is just dumb and misleads the misinformed.

@grantbdev1 I could understand why they censored out "Goddamn," but note how they also censored out the rest of the statement. All the audiences heard was "If the mothers ruled the world there would be no--." There is a ten second delay between real time and what they show on live TV. They had plenty of time to single out the 'bad word' and still allow the rest of the sentence to be aired.

@thebutcher5455 Seriously I'd say unplug the darn thing, if you want to be informed read good newspapers and listen to NPR, but if you're going to watch news on TV, by far the best source is PBS, I'll grant you it can be a little dry but if you're actually interested in being informed that's the best way to go by a wide margin.
As for the others, CNN, MSNBC, they've all become so into talking heads yelling at one another and opinion shows it's hard to find real news. The Big 3 are better.

I fully believe that a women have the potential to be great and peaceful leaders, but I think they are just as likely to make mistakes as men. Whites vs. Blacks is one thing, Christians vs. Muslims is another, but Women vs. Men is a scary thing. Coexistance is the key to the evolution of mankind.
