  • who else is looking forward to the third movie?

  • This is why I love Scarecrow!

  • Oooooooh Dr Crane <3 what a man <3

  • Scarecrow: Would you like to see my mask?

Joker: No...but want to know how I got these scars?

  • scarecrow is my favorite villian

  • He was in inception

  • First time when I watched it I was fucking scared as little baby

  • he's got bitch lips..

  • Robert Fischer :P

  • It always bugged me, but did Scarecrow die in Batman Begins? He just kinda runs off and forgotten it seems.

  • @Illier1 You see him at the start of the dark knight in the parking garage seen, with all the amateur bat-men. He is captured by Batman and left for the cops.

  • @Illier1 You can see him at the beginning of Batman: The Dark Knight.

  • can we talk about the acting or

  • isn't that the man in the bar that Two-Face killed in The Dark Knight? o-o

  • @mrrickstur NOPE.

  • Him and Tom Welling are identical @-@

  • @daria23 is this batman

  • Cillian and Heath...seriously...who can beat that? i can't wait the see the failure with the dark knight rises

  • @americanpsycho93 Yeah, Murphy and Ledger are pretty awesome-wait what?

  • That happened when I took salvia >.<

  • I remember when I saw this scene in theaters I was only 10 years old scared the shit out of me Hahaha

  • want to to see my mask ? ; scarecrow wana know how i get this scars : the joker

  • so when did the nut take out the nuts house ?

  • Wanna see my Potato sack, i mean "Mask" i mean... of fuck it.

  • hes coming back in the dark knight rises

  • Scarecrow is the best villian besides a few he can make joker go crazier than he is and batman and....Do I need to go on?

  • @ZoNeDGameingPC Wow.

  • Comment removed

  • Cillian Murphy is the most badass badass ever. Who else has seen 28 Days Later? When he is killing the soldiers in the storm, this and that scene he is a GOD

  • "Would you like to see my mask?"-Crane

"Um, no I dont want to play gimp and dominatrix with you."-Me

  • DR. SEXY!!! :D

  • So Falcone is scared of waves?

  • Scarecrow is awesum!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @usernameDOGS I totally agree with you on that. This would also create a butterfly effect which would have changed the batman trilogy causing Heath Ledger to never play the Joker in the Dark Knight which would not have only saved his life but also skyrocket Cillian Murphy's career as well as his popularity as the Scare crow :?]

  • @usernameDOGS better than ledger? noooo...sorry. I recognized cillian on screen. ledger completely dissapeared.

  • Comment removed

  • @usernameDOGS don't be a dumbass. Ledger completely changed his persona, his mannerisms, his personality, even the way he moved and his facial expressions were completely different. it was like he really was a different person. one of the best acting performances of all time. I'm sorry but this guy is never going to be even half as good as heath's performance was.

  • @Kilox1000 LOL ,i never said he was better, did you even read my comment?i said he could of been, but he obviouslly wasnt cause he was treated like a nothing character,if anyone put on a amazing performance in the dark knight it was gary oldman as commissioner gordon.heath was really good but come on,best performance of all time??seriouslly its not that hard to make your voice sound exacly like the heath ledger's voice as the joker.he was really good but really overrated.

  • @usernameDOGS overrated? thats a disgrace...he spent 3 months solitary in a motel just to prepare for the roll...and what the FUCK? commisoner gordon? ok he was a good gorodn but ledger stole the show every time he was on camera. even from batman. the second best performance was definitley 2 face. I know you didn't say he was better than ledger but I'm telling you he could never be.

  • @Kilox1000 its only a disgrace to say because the man is dead, but honeslty if he didnt die people like yourself would not be freaking out as much when i say my opinion.gary oldman is an amazing actor who played his part so straight foward and doesnt get the credit he deserves, aaron eckhart as harvey dent i thought he was so cheesy at times, anyway,i like heath ledgers performance alot, but honestly its not the greatest performance i have ever seen

  • @usernameDOGS oh really? what was a better performance then? it was by far the best of this decade. It has nothing to do with him being dead, its a disgrace because its so untrue. gorodn was just a supporting character and he played the role fine...I don't understand what the fuck you see their...not every goddam actor in the batman movies is as amazing as you are saying gordon/scarecrow is.

  • @Kilox1000 its hilarious how mad you are lol, anyway.i believe heath ledger was also a supporting actor, hints why he won "best supporting actor" lol, just cause gordons character was not a flashy character like batman, joker,or harvey dent,he still gave a great believable performance.cillian murphy and heath ledger are equally good actors, just one happend to get the better role.my opinion on better??i have to say Christoph Waltz in inglourious basterds or Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh

  • @usernameDOGS umm why would I be mad? do you want me to get mad or something? there was absolutely nothing special about Gordon. and by supporting character I guess I meant more of a MINOR ROLE. I don't even know what he has to do with this conversation. Ledger's performance=best of the decade thats that. sure murphy did pretty good...but hes not even on the same level in this movie. you can't compare them.

  • @Kilox1000 gordon was in the film just as much as the joker, probly even more, seriouslly have you watched the film latley?the ending climax revolves around him and his family,he also has the last words in the film,he is just as of a important character as the joker.once again i said he cillian murphy COULD have been,i never said he was...."I don't understand what the fuck you see their...not every goddam actor in the batman..."..seemed mad to me lol

  • @usernameDOGS I could think of about 5 characters that had bigger roles than Gordon. the film starred bale and ledger. seroiusly was gordon even recognized for anything? where is this coming from? I've never heard anyone talking about his performance.

  • @Kilox1000 did you hear the oscar nominations this morning??,gary oldman was just nominted for best leading actor for "tinker tailer soldier spy", see what i mean??..hes very talented and hes finally getting the credit he deserves, good for him.

  • @usernameDOGS umm so?? tons of actors are nominated for actors. this somehow makes his role in a completely different movie better? I'm not saying he isn't a good actor I'm just saying there was 10x better performances in the dark knight.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kilox1000 nope,im just replying to when you claimed gary oldman is nothing special and didnt believe me hes one of the top actors who is long overdue for a oscar.nomination.

  • @Kilox1000 You've got to see Cillian in Peacock. There, he disappeared TWICE, first as himself and second as one of his bipolar characters. That man is insane.

  • wasint that guy in mission impossible 4?

  • that would be an amazing Halloween costume lol nobody would even open the door! XD they would be so frighted

  • SEXY = CILLIAN MURPHY

  • I need some fear gas...

  • @rosabaca21 If you seriously think you can handle delerium, take 15-20 benadryl (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) in a safe environment. I guarentee you'll be curled up in a ball under your bed crying like a little baby and never touch the stuff again.

  • @Zellig dude it was just a joke obviously.

  • Too much sexiness! Cilian Murphy as the Scarecrow was just amazing.

  • i just wanna say this, its these kinds of movies that makes me want to cheer for the villains, Cillian Murphy at that :)

  • Scarecrow working with Ra's Ahl Ghul? Awsome XD

  • HOT

  • Wish they made it scarier when he releases the gas. Instead of distortion of sound :/

  • @AshhBoyy It all depends on the mind of the person. Crane was obviously a bit psychotic to begin with so his own hallucination with Batman (an already intimidating figure) was more realistic.

  • The distortion of the scene when he puts on the mask, coupled with the sound, was quite freaky on the big screen.

  • His American accent sounds much sexier than his real one.

  • villians get sexier and sexier xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • @TheDepreed like Bane ?

  • ... would you like to see my mask? I use it in my experiments. Probably not very frightening to a guy like you, but these crazies [ladies too!] can't stand it. They scream and they cry... oh Cillian, let me love you!

  • Because of the sound mixing, I can't understand what Scarecrow is saying without subtitles.

  • crane looks like otacon

  • @Thepinkfloydmaster E.E! E.E!!

  • So what is Crane afraid of? Demons?

  • @TurnToJesus1 Batman.

  • @TurnToJesus1 Nope. He fears Batman.

  • @TurnToJesus1 Technically, he fears bats, so he fears batman.

  • the dislike bar is like a ninja you know it's there but you can't really see it

  • I love Cillian's apologetic face at 0:37, like it genuinely pains him to do this hahaha

  • got to 0:38

  • I would be like FUK NO!

  • I want him in dark knight rises. Cillian Murphy plays a great scarecrow/johnathon crane. I also want him to be in the new batman game when it releases in a few years

  • @Darkknightfan426 Actually he is in the dark knight rises. The press and other people said they saw him on set during some of the filming with his costume and everything.

  • I read somewhere that he was going to be in the new Batman movie. I'm guessing as a small role like in the Dark Knight. But still, prettty cool knowing that this guy is still running around Gotham doing who knows what.

  • 'Would you like to see my ass? I use it my experiments. probably not very frightening to a guy like you, but these crazies- they can't stand it.'

    *goatse*

'They scream and they cry, just like you are doing now.'

  • hahaha !

  • I find it so strange when some guy ends up looking really gay or nearly like a female

all these girls say they look hot or sexy or cute or something which is making me start to believe that girls basically love the image of girls....

  • @lXxMasterShakexXl The media is right! ALL WOMEN ARE CLOSETED

  • @lXxMasterShakexXl in what way does Cillian Murphy look like a woman, or gay for that matter? (I can only assume the comments about him being hot are what inspired that comment)

  • @SNICKERFACED Just pointing out i didn't mean that in a bad way or insulting way.First off you hardly see these sexual comments about a guy who looks "manly" on youtube. The first time i saw this movie and another i thought he was a girl (beside the whole jaw line)or gay but in this movie is becaue how he talks and screamed during a scene even though he's acting,Also the fact that he looks like he's wearing lip gloss and make up just above his eyes.

  • Then again who is to say it's not manly putting on make up.Maybe because all we see on tv are basically a womans sex appeal or "beauty" but when we think of a guy we either see some strong guy or hairy fat one.I mean look at some emo boys girls love them and i can easily say that but we label them pretty boys with make up.So maybe in the next generation more guys will find that look more common and guys will be more of the sex appeal but that' on whoever runs the media over televison,

  • I love this scene because unless you read the comics, you didn't know who Crane really was, so when he pulls out his mask, you're like "ok, wtf is going on, who is this guy?".

  • This is why Scarecrow is such a popular Batman villain. He looks like a harmless pretty-boy, but when that mask goes on and the gas comes out, WATCH OUT GOTHAM!!

  • This is going to sound extremely weird but I thought Cillian was so hot in this scene!

  • @INF3darkgreen Not weird at all! It's one of the reasons I uploaded it in the first place ;)

  • @INF3darkgreen He was. ;D

  • @INF3darkgreen He's always hot

  • this was the first movie i saw Cillian in, and I immediately thought he's hot. I also though he was American, so to disocver he was Irish was like the cherry on the top :) LOVE him

  • what is the name on the film

  • @ZoNeDGameingPC Batman Begins

  • @daria23 why did the put him in the dark knight for 2 seconds? it was more of a 'fuck you' to the fans than a cameo...

  • @daria23 i think they should of called the movie...scarecrow owns

  • god he looks sexy in glasses! =D

  • He's a good scarecrow, the problem was they completely underplayed him. I mean they've never even given him a full costume

  • He's always rational, logical, follows through well..

Then..."would you like to see my mask?"

  • Cillian Murphy has been spotted in the set of Dark Knight Rises. There is a rumor that he is on the one who brews the Venom that lets Bane go toe to toe with Batman.

  • He's a great actor. He has the natural-born creeper look and plays the part wonderfully.

  • Holy cow try pressing shift and the like button down bellow

  • Ok.this is one of the best scenes in the movie. Great Actor but he shouldve been used more, another thing the actor playing falcone in this movie is nothing like the actual carmine i read from the comics. is this guy even italian? sorry for my complaining for such a small character ( i also have a deal with maroni in TDK) but those 2 mob bosses have had major roles in many graphic novels. and i feel they should have found the right people to act AND atleast look somwhat like them.

  • Whoever plays Crane is doing a brillaint job

  • @pepinozinanasshole It's the very sexy Cillian Murphy :D

  • well he's not faking ...... not that one

    haha lol

  • I hope that the next Batman series has the following characters and has them portrayed properly:

Robin (Jason Todd could work well in a live action movie. Or Tim Drake.)

    Nightwing

    Oracle

    Scarecrow

    Clayface

    Red Hood

    Deadshot

    Hush

Aside from maybe Clayface, none of those villains requires a lot of CG so that shouldn't detract from the story or fight scenes. :)

  • Scarecrow plays second-fiddle in Batman Begins, is written-off in the first five minutes of Dark Knight, and doesn't look to be in Dark Knight Rises (Bane? Seriously?!). Way to under-sell the best Batman villain....

  • @SloganYams From what I hear he is gonna be in Rises as well, but knowing Nolan he's gonna be under used yet again. Seriously the next director that takes the Batman franchise should just pass over Joker as he's already a severly overrated Batman villian and should just go on and use Scarecrow.

  • @TheInstantClassic1 I wouldn't say Joker is overrated, but we have seen him so many times that it would be nice to give other villains the chance to shine, particularly Scarecrow, who has yet to be the main villain in any movie (and yet, Bane is made into a main villain.....Okay....). He was always my favorite Batman villain, even as a kid (despite his absence from the movies), I don't want him to be written out of a movie in five minutes (especially after they built him up at the end of BB).

  • so so so true need a better story and more screen time both he and ledger were and was phenomenal actors.

  • The dude who played Joker in the Dark Knight killed himself right?

  • @toothless313 Heath didn't kill himself, was an accidental overdose.

  • My halloween costume for this year. Scarecrow is way cooler than Joker

  • Crane: Would you like to me my mask?

Falcone: Why, yes, in fact I would love to see your mas--oh SHIIIIIII.....

  • i think he's just as good as heaths joker he was just way too under used i hope he has a bigger part in DK rises

  • @truetails1 if Bane's venom is based on the same source as the fear toxin, scarecrow might have a role in it.

  • FANGIRLS! Thumbs up if you think he's sexier in glasses ;)

  • Comment removed

  • he looks like me somewhat we both ugly with beautiful color eyes

  • I actually squealed out loud and started giggling like a fangirl OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

  • his voice honestly made me jump a tiny bit.

  • been there, done that. (yawn)

    /\ .. /\

  • i remember this scene. very calm and quiet, my attention span waning at the conversation...then BWAAAAAA the theaters speakers nearly deafen me. made love scarecrow from the first time i saw the mask.

  • @RecIuse lol mee too !

  • Comment removed

  • And thats how you deal with mob bosses. LOOOOL

  • I love how he can smile without even moving his lips. That takes major skill.

  • Am I the only one who gets the impression that Murphy tried to portray Scarecrow as a bit of a pervert on top of being a sadist? In this scene, it seems like he's almost getting a sexual thrill out of the idea of fear, and even when Batman hits him with his own gas he seems to have an almost orgasmic look on his face. The idea that he literally gets off on fear is very well portrayed.

  • @dkupke

That makes a lot of sense. I can see Scarecrow taking a sexual thrill from tormenting his victims, forcing them to face their fears and feeding off the terror meanwhile.

  • @dkupke I think Crane definately has a sexually depraived edge to him. just makes him a million times sexier than he is already.

The first time i saw him i knew instantly he was a dirty b*astard. unf unf

  • @Lucylava In all the scenes where there is fear, he has this semi-aroused look on his face, even when he is seeing Batman as some sort of monster. You can tell fear is both an obsession and a fetish for him.

  • @dkupke yes i've noticed that. he really does portray the character brilliantly. to make it totally believable he knew the motive for Crane's behaviour had to be driven by sick pleasure. makes you wonder what kind of experiments he was performing at Arkham!

  • Incredibly effective villain, reducing what was the most powerful man in Gotham to a gibbering nobody in a moment. The scope of what Gotham was about to face becomes undeniably frightening in just one brief instant of time, and in reality it's a mere taste.

    Love Batman Begins.

  • Cillian Murphy is an underrated actor playing an underrated villain

  • "No, he's not faking. Not that one."

Probably the best line in the movie! Cillian is probably the best actor around atm, shame he doesn't get much recognition.

  • I wonder if Dr Jonathan "Scarecrow" Crane once gave an unfortunate patient too much of his 'Medication' and that turned that poor patient into the JOKER...

BTW i love how he says:"Would you like to see my mask?" reminds me of

"You wanna know how i got theses scars??"

  • @t0k3puff420 Joker isn't afraid of anything.

  • @t0k3puff420 no joker fell into a vat of toxic waste, no joke

  • @chaoslord648 I think he means the Nolan Joker, not the comic Joker

  • @t0k3puff420 - Like I said a while back, when someone in Gotham City asks you if you want to hear a just-so story about some event in their life, a physical feature or some item of theirs........FUCKING RUN!

  • @t0k3puff420 Nice theory, but no.

  • @t0k3puff420 .....Of course not. Scarecrow famously attempted to backstab the Joker while they were working together. After using his fear gas on Joker, Scarecrow discovered that Joker isn't afraid of anything.

Joker proceeded to beat Scarecrow with a chair.

  • @gamemeister27 It's not that the Joker isn't afraid of anything. It's that the Joker is immune to the effects of Scarecrow's fear gas because of his severely demented and scarred psyche. In other words, he's too crazy for it to work on him. This is coming straight from the comics.

  • @DamienTepps Damn you Wikipedia! You have failed me in a very slight manner yet again.

  • Wahahahahah wy did they have to turn Scarecrow into a prettyboy.....

  • I think they did a good job with Scarecrow in this movie. Joel Schumacher probably would have gone with a real Wizard of Oz look. Here, even though he largely stays out of the mask, they portrayed him as a creepy, obsessive, and semi-perverted kind of guy. He clearly gets off on making people afraid.

  • When he says "I use it in my experiments" he practically pisses his pants with excitement.

  • Tom Wilkinson and Cillian Murphy are awesome in this movie, better than TDK IMO, this is my favourite scene :)

  • I think they should make a re-boot on this movie with John Glover as the scarecrow!

  • Omg! Cillian with glasses -33

  • Such a great display of acting by Murphy. The twitches in his eyes as Falcone is talking is gold

  • i think it was a rhetorical question...

  • Cant deal with it gif.

  • I would have felt alot more satisfied if they had the final confrontation between him and batman from the batman begins video game..... when hes in the narrows bridge control room... and tries to fuck with batman again

  • Would you like to see my dick?? Scarecrow's dick??

    Falcone: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH, AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH

  • I don't think they did true justice to the Scarecrow in the movie. I was very disappointed .

  • @SiDN64 Can't rely on anyone these days...it's a funny world we live in.

  • Without subtitles you cannot understand A WORD OF THAT ONE LOUD PART.

  • Cilian was awesome in this role. Scarecrow to me is a cooler character than the Joker in that he doesn't confront you hand to hand; no, he'll fuck with your mind and watch in glee as you tear yourself apart as insanity claims you.

  • @TheInstantClassic1 im with you on that one!!! the only thing thats scary on Joker is that he uses Bombs, and knifes... and my brother pointed out to me is that he has the same colors as Barney the Dinosaur! lol (thats why hes always smiling!)

  • funny thing is, I had no idea who Scarecrow was until I saw this movie.

  • Jonathan Crane put ten people in Arkham.

Crane: I can try to treat him.

    Falcone: (after seeing mask) AAAAH

Crane: Sorry. I tried all that I could. Better send him to Arkham where I'll be testing my product on him some more. Thanks. Oh, and here's five bucks. Bye you something nice.

  • Me and my dad love it.
