Pushrods don't make a shit on cubic inches, doesn't change anything, its just how long they need to be to reach the lifters. 347 is .05 over piston, I order parts all the time for my Z28, they have never once asked if it was a 347, they might ask if its a stock bottom end, but that's rare unless you're looking to do a mod that may be hard on the lower end.

@20psitransam LS1 is a 346 not a 347... 347 is what they usually forge them to, they punch it .05 over and change rods and pistons (sometimes crank but the stock crank will hold a LOT of power anyway.
Either the stock cubes car is a freak or that 408 is weak. 60 extra cubes and 75 more hp of spray shouldn't be the losing car. Good running by the white car though.

With a bigger bigger and more n20 it should be an easy win. Even if he doesn't know how to drive. But you can also see that he runs an 11.0 with a 408 on 250 shot. He should be running close to that on just motor. No spray. Type in "My Trans Am" and watch that. Stock bottom end no spray runs 10.46 on tire.

Somethings not right with the 408. He should be running atleast 10.9x on motor. My little 370ci. runs 10.7x's on motor at 3650lbs.
Sucks he blew a headgasket though.
