Thank you. I sent my husband's pants off to the cleaners/alterations and they replaced the last jean button from a failed alteration button replacement. Now I know why they both failed and came off. The button they both used had no ridges. It basically looked like a tack that had a squared off tip with tiny scrapes on the sides. Thanks to you, I now know what to buy on Ebay and how to put it on myself!
do you know of a liquid heat resistant adhesive to use on the recessed buttons that hold plastic gems or inlays. i removed plastic jewels from my wife's jeans and would like to fill buttons with colored adhesive instead.
Thank you for that information - very very helpful - bought some Lane Bryant $60 jeans and the damn things are falling apart six months later :| (Used to I could buy them and they would last a good two or three years!)
@Moddang30 haha same thing happened to me which is why I'm watching this vid. I was pissed that I wore it only once and the whole thing came right out.
This is an awesome description of doing this the right way. I really like that you included how to take a jeans button OFF as well. I've lost a pocket button so now I know how to take off the other one to match both back pocket buttons :) Thanks SO much!!!
how do you romove a jean button? one of my buttons fell off cuz the hole is riped alitle,is it possible to pop it off and attach it again?
