I'm with terry bradshaw on this one, he's hands down the best to play the game, he is the ultimate competitor, he goes out and gives it his all every sunday, he never gives up, the NFL will never be the same when he is finally gone, I wish that day would never come, but we're all thankful for having the opportunity to watch you play through all the ups and downs, it's been one heck of a ride that I will never forget.

To finish my thought I just want people to realize every fan from all NFL team lived him. Black players White players and black and white fans all loved Brett Favre. He wasn't the most talented and he didn't win the most championships but he knew he had to do what was good for the team. He was willing to play every Sunday cuz he knew his time could go at any play but he played with reckless abandonment for his body because the other 10 guys on the field did the exact same - He is a legend!!!!

I am a Giants fan. I am not going to sit here and say that I didn't want to win that play-off game but part of me didn't care if we lost to Green Bay. Infact most of my Giant fan buddies didn't really care either. Are way of thinking was that if we had to lose it would be nice to lose against the best quarterback I have ever seen in my 21 years on this planet. However, I've never respected someone that has kicked our teams butt as I've had brett favre.

everytime we play green bay, i've had that fear strike my heart due to Brett Favre being on the field.

I will miss Brett, and hope someday the bears will be lucky to have someone like him in our side.
