I liked Ruby (when Gen played her.) She's actually the only female character (except from ellen) that I've ever liked on this show. And, she's a lucky lady to have Jared. :')
I admit that at first I didn't like her, but she grew on me. Some people say that she was horrible as Ruby and her acting sucked but I disagree her acting wasn't all that bad, it was pretty okay! I liked her as Ruby and I was sorry to see her go.

I could not believe the negativity fans directed at Genevieve for being the second actress to play Ruby. I thought she was great & I'm not just saying that. I really thought she played the role so well, seducing the Sam character towards the dark side.
Maybe the fans were mad the Ruby character was driving a wedge between the Sam & Dean characters & directed that anger towards Genevieve. That was so wrong.
I was thrilled Genevieve came back for "The French Mistake" & I thank her for doing it.
She is pretty but the way she talks it drives me nuts. It sounds she has a retainer in her mouth. Her lips look weird to when she talks it bothers me. Sorry Super fans!

@siaysi they said that they wanted a sweeter version of ruby for the new season, and Katie had already created a bad-ass image which wouldn't really fit, so I guess that's why they replaced her with Gen :)
I have no problem with Katie as ruby nor did i have a problem with Genevieve as Ruby. But if i had to choice I'd pick Gen's Ruby, I like the way she played her better.

People can say the meanest things on the internet, and it's definitely not impossible for an actor to come across it online. After all, they're just people. One thing is to prefer one actors work over another actor, but the things that come out of people's mouths sometimes are horrible... Comments like "she sucked" and "she's horrible" are very immature things to say, and I wish they'd just shut up.

SUPER happy with her performance as ruby, or her acting in general... but i am SO happy that she's jared's partner, i think they are the most amazing couple. so, i love her in the show despite the flaws i think i see, and i hope she is spared some of the 13 year olds who don't understand that sitting anonymously behind a computer screen and insulting someone can actually hurt real people.
she is honestly so lovely, you can tell that she's noticed the hate that some of the fandom directed towards her and she's so self-conscious about it and she takes it so gracefully.
