I hate Macs, they served no purpose even in school when you needed to type things up, then of course when you needed a program, if it didnt crash you had to deal with those annoying worthless and painful small circle mouses.
Time for a worthwhile comment: I've used Macs and I've used PCs.
Macs are good for a few editting programs and specific tasks.
PCs are for everyday computing and for experimentation. Sorry but after using both PC just wins because Mac tells me what I can do or upgrade.

Phlatball96, all-in-one? that would be PC. PC has the all-in-one functionality, where mac is really more for editing and business crap. PC CAN do anything, just not very well. If you want an efficient, top-market, all-in-one computer, you're going to be sorely disappointed. Vista was crap, way true, but XP isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It's really best just to build your own computers from the ground up, specifically for each purpose you plan to use it for, and have theOS needed.
vista isn't bad if you have all the right hardware which isn't hard to come by in this day and age. xp was worse than vista when it first came out but somehow people tend to overshadow that. xp outlived it's intended lifetime and now people are way too used to it. i have no problems with my vista laptop whatsoever.
I've said it once, I'll say it again.When Vista becomes back-compatible, and windows stops betaing all releases on their customers, I'll buy as soon as they are released(Assuming I get a job by that time...jeez, the market is unforgiving). Until then, I'm perfectly content with Nemesis XP. I refuse to be windows' beta-bitch, though feel free to do that for me.
ok so what set's windows XP apart form the others? well Microsoft stole (payed) some of the coders from "MAC" to help them with XP thats why XP was so reliable you relay did not know haw to use computers if you get a blue screen on xp.
Nothing was wrong with ME except that it froze noe and then. I'm not saying it was the best. But until I get a better computer to go to vista im staying with XP.

And hello - you can move the dock if it's in the way. Mine is to the side, I've set it to pop out when I need it. Play with the settings.. learn how to use your Mac, it's not rocketscience. And you can use Firefox if you don't like Safari.

This is true of Safari, which is why it's best to get Firefox or Camino. I do agree that Macs have downfalls. I'm not completely retarded, I know that there is no perfect operating system. One thing I don't like about Macs for example, is using search. Since it searches for what you put in the moment you put it in, this slows down the computer, and sometimes causes Finder to crash. That's why I use Terminal to search.

I agree that Macs are better. I have an iMac and I love it. But you are being a little biased in this. Macs do crash, it's happened to me, they do get viruses, just not as many. There is no such thing as a perfect computer. There isn't now, and there never will be. But that doesn't change that Macs are better.

I used to build my own pcs, I switched over to mac back in may for recording purposes...fucking sick of it(and mac elitists). If you know what you're doing on a pc you'll realize they much better and much more powerful.
And as far as gaming goes...it sucks on macs and it's not just because of the game selection.
My Mac Mini has yet to fail me in any of these ways. If you don't want a file in the trash, don't put it there jackass. And once you put it in there, you still have to empty the trash to lose the file forever.

Those are just school computers. They have these problems all the time. My school uses Windows and the problems are unimaginably beyond worse than what happens with this guy. I recently got an iMac and it's the best computer I've ever owned. I also have a friend who got one and feels the same way about his.

I use a vista ultimate Gaming PC
3gig ram 2 Times 2 Intel Pentium processors 3.6 GHZ and a 512 8600 GT NVIDIA graphics card.
High stats you think well I do have a base score of 5.2 but that's as for as it will go on the good side.
• Most of my games will not run on vista
• Window explorer fails on an Hourly bases (most likely due to my games I try and run)

PC > Mac
My PC hasn't crashed since 2002 (after XP switch) *aside for me experimenting with actually purposely crashing it*
My PC has never had viruses/malware
My PC is faster than most Macs, and if it is not then it is considerably cheaper (homebrew, under $1500)
My PC has a much better video card than anything available for Macs
My PC can run almost any OS, aside for Solaris (out of the big ones)

My Mac Mini has yet to fail me in any of these ways. If you don't want a file in the trash, don't put it there jackass. And once you put it in there, you still have to empty the trash to lose the file forever.
I could make a skit like this for my PC, and it would be an hour long.

this is completely true, our school uses imacs and these things happen all the TIME, no kidding, if this stuff didnt happen i would have a mac, cause i like the way they look

Those are just school computers. They have these problems all the time. My school uses Windows and the problems are unimaginably beyond worse than what happens with this guy. I recently got an iMac and it's the best computer I've ever owned. I also have a friend who got one and feels the same way about his.
