Why it's medicine is because if you are hurt and cannot sleep it slows down your brain connectivity and speeds up your metabolism allowing your body to heal. I'm not being an ignorant junkie, i'm just stating facts. And it does nothing psychologically harmful. That"s why it's allowed to be prescribed.

N only twice the speed? Should be at least 5x throughput, as G tops out around 20-25Mbps (I got mine to 29Mbps with tweaking) and N should be in the 100Mbps range. With dual band N you should be in the 200Mbps range.

So basically, that's 5 meters of open terrain extra, which means about an extra 3 meters inside a building... I think it's cheaper to just buy a repeater or a wireless switch for your G network instead of upgrading all your computers and your router to a draft wireless N system

Compared and tested both Wireless N and G. 2 different locations and both had identical distance and results on N and G in every way right down to a few centimetres range. All equipment was wireless N and then Wireless G and it was definitely working properly. NO DIFFERENCE except it was faster when very close and that was it. Often this is the case and Wireless N is very overrated with often no improvement over G what-so-ever. Maybe it improves for some people depending on location.
