I'm getting my opinion expressed, so I am getting something out of it. How many times are you going to ask why I keep going? I don't know how many times I have to tell you... Your reply to my comments, so I do the same. It is common courtesy.

you already expressed your opinion, in the first post. i wouldn't call keeping up a pointless argument courteous, but okay. if that's how you roll.
i wasn't trying to imply that you were trying to change my opinion. i already know you're not going to. all i did was tear down your metaphor because it made no sense. but again, okay. if that's how you roll, by all means. keep it going.
the movie critic crap. not necessarily a metaphor i guess, but it was a poor example.

What was wrong with the example? You didn't give any good reasons as to why it was bad.
See, you make fun of me for replying, but I said I do it out of courtesy. If you aren't replying out of respect, why do you keep replying? (Be sure to read through all of your comments so you don't come across as a hypocrite.)
Nothing here was about trying to change your opinion. You asked why I reply with comments you consider negative and I told you why. Now you are trying to make it sound like I'm trying to change your opinion.

4) If people should bother with making negative comments about videos they don't like, than why should they make positive ones? Do you also get amused when film critics give negative reviews about motion pictures? It is the same concept, just on a much smaller scale.
if a critic makes a bad review about a movie i already like, i'm not going to take that to heart and think "oh wow i must've been wrong liking that movie. i'll just go ahead and change my opinion now." and it's not really the same, because critics are paid to make reviews, but no one cares about your opinions on these videos and you're not actually getting anything out of it, so why keep going?
they allllways do an amazing job. i dunno where you're from but they're going on a country wide tour after this friday so if they're anywhere near you, you should try to hit up a show. :]
Well, my original comment took about 15 seconds to post, so I didn't waste much time there. After that, I felt obligated to reply to your responses directed at me, and those only take a few seconds each, so I really haven't wasted that much of my time.
I guess you just want the comments section reserved for comments YOU want to hear.

Just because there are worse videos, it doesn't mean this is a good one. It is a hack-job cover, by the way.
because i love the band and the song and they put on a good performance. there are a lot of videos on this site with a lot less substance than this. if you don't like it, don't watch.
