For me, Leona and Alexandra are both extremely talented. In all the vocal battles, I said TIE. They have different voices, of course: Alex wins in terms of power and soulful tone, Leona in technique and agility, but... they're amazing. Stop with hate comments against Alex or Leona.

Singing Without You on the Live Shows of talent competitions seems to be a real good luck charm. This is one of the better versions as well definitely, I like the deep voice she sings it with.
She has the same voice as Maria Carey and Tony Braxton but she is not as good as those two. So far, Leona or whatever her name was.. Is my favorite. Way better than Cheril and Alexandra. Yup yup. Young, pretty and amazing voice.
Why are you always comparing Leona to Alexandra? They have different tones, Leona is a Soprano and Alexandra is an alto, leave that stereotype that only singers that can sing high notes are good. They're both rare treasures, it's hard to find a singer with such deep low voice like Alexandra and a songbird like Leona. Also- we know what the diff is between an amazing BALLAD singer (leona) and a great pop-singer. Compare leona's songs with alexs and mostly they are more vocally expressed and inspiring than alexs. Nevertheless- alexandra knows how to sing and get you onto ur feet. But from an expert perspective- singers that reach the higher-notes are far more impresive!

Singing is not all about high notes, what about the tone, the colour of the voice and the feeling? Alot of singers can sing high notes, it's not that difficult since you find and work you're mix voice, tough it's much more harder to sing low notes if you don't have them in your vocal extension. Leona is wonderful but Alexandra is good to.

I think Alexandra has an ACE voice. But I prefer leonas tone, and phrasing with this song. Plus Leona has the ability to take you on a journey with her voice and hit an amazing crichendo. <---haha spelled that wrong. Anyway Alexandra is a different type of entertainer than Leona. I think Leona is more the operatic diva, while Alex is in more Beyonce territory. Just different ends of the spectrum, but both brilliantly talented.

No way, I think Alex displayed better vocal control, and more soul than Leona. Except for Leona's high notes, her version was a sleeper.

For me, Leona and Alexandra are both extremely talented. In all the vocal battles, I said TIE. They have different voices, of course: Alex wins in terms of power and soulful tone, Leona in technique and agility, but... they're amazing. Stop with hate comments against Alex or Leona.

I do not mean to offend anyone but anyone who says alexandra is better than leona- just cannot POSSIBLY be listening to the voice and listening to music to be captivated and awe-inspired which is what genuine ballads are all about!!!

Singing Without You on the Live Shows of talent competitions seems to be a real good luck charm. This is one of the better versions as well definitely, I like the deep voice she sings it with.

Why are you always comparing Leona to Alexandra? They have different tones, Leona is a Soprano and Alexandra is an alto, leave that stereotype that only singers that can sing high notes are good. They're both rare treasures, it's hard to find a singer with such deep low voice like Alexandra and a songbird like Leona. You british should be proud of having such talented singers, I'm Portuguese and I feel sad that in my country nobody supports really good singers, so don't do the same ;)

@Marco686marques the whole point is to prefer one to the other and some of us who are professionals in music- no exactly what is good or not. Also- we know what the diff is between an amazing BALLAD singer (leona) and a great pop-singer. Compare leona's songs with alexs and mostly they are more vocally expressed and inspiring than alexs. Nevertheless- alexandra knows how to sing and get you onto ur feet. But from an expert perspective- singers that reach the higher-notes are far more impresive!

@MrWilks6 I disagree with you, so you mean that singers like Nina Simone, Anita Baker, Billie Holiday or Toni Braxton are not impressive??? Singing is not all about high notes, what about the tone, the colour of the voice and the feeling? Alot of singers can sing high notes, it's not that difficult since you find and work you're mix voice, tough it's much more harder to sing low notes if you don't have them in your vocal extension. Leona is wonderful but Alexandra is good to.

i prefer Alexandra singing ballads shes so great at them. i don't like all this uptempo stuff she releases after another and it sounds abit cheap. she seems to have drifted to making her music aimed only for girls. hope she makes her next album more focused on ballads and for everyone to listen to as an audience.

One's got the voice, which is amazing; and the other's got the voice, the looks, the charisma, and the moves, which is even more incredible.

I have to say..Leona does do a better job on this song but Alex did a great job here too..there are certain tracks that will suit Leona + certain tracks suit Alex. Some ballads like Unbreak My Heart does suit Alex more than Leona but Alex is a better uptempo singa for sure BUT Leona can certainly do uptempo songs like Outta My Head - which is probably her best single on Echo

@MrWilks6 hahahahahaha i dont even care bout the singing right now, the fact that you said venus is more powerful than serena is a sign of ignorance. theres no doubt that leona is an excellent singer however if she were on the same show as alex she would have lost, shes nowhere near as versatile, cannot dance and is extremely boring. hitting a high note in the head voice is not difficult, and alex would bury leona when it comes to power.

@tarny11 well actually leona was doing one of the biggest tours of the year all over europe- costing syco its biggest ever production!! and from what the reviews say leonas turned into quite a stage-vixen. alex sings these silly uptempos but leona does the BIG ones- and leonas voice is way more powerful. people are so desperate to find someone better than what has come before. get over it- no x factor artist will ever match leona- im sure if u asked simon cowell- he wud tell u leona is the best

I think Alexandra has an ACE voice. But I prefer leonas tone, and phrasing with this song. Plus Leona has the ability to take you on a journey with her voice and hit an amazing crichendo. <---haha spelled that wrong. Anyway Alexandra is a different type of entertainer than Leona. I think Leona is more the operatic diva, while Alex is in more Beyonce territory. Just different ends of the spectrum, but both brilliantly talented.

I agree with you that Alex has a soulful voice and can display great emotion, but there is a song made for every singer. My critique was tailored to this song. Which Leona's version is better than Alex because its very similar to the original which is hard feat to acheive. I am a fan of Alex and Leona. As I said both are great, and equally talented. They are at just different ends of the spectrum. Plus Leona has had greater sucess over in the states, which is also something to take note of.
