Back in 2002 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and it shook me to my soul. Fortunately, she fought the successful fight but during that time I was a mess. I was in the Air Force and could not visit as much as I wanted. This song helped me a lot, kept my head up, as I tried to be the man she wanted me to be. Here we are, 9 years later, and I still have my Mom but this song makes me sad at times because I know one day she will be gone
