I thought Yorick was a constantly self-deprecating, smart-ass wimp. What irritated me especially was the way he is obssessed with getting to Australia to see his gf when the world in is in major crisis. I mean, instead of pulling himself together and learning off 355, at first he tries to get himself killed. I suppose the lead male character had to be weak though because it emphasises the strength of the female characters.

I haven't read Y: The Last Man, I've heard a lot of good things and I'm willing to check it out. But Vertigo is a prime example of why I love comics. Preacher is one of the greatest stories I've ever read!
