  • Well I dont mean to be rude but there needs to be some sort of area youths can go to. The council is constantly blaming youths for all this vandalism but they're not doing anything about it. Maybe build a place to keep them out of trouble because all that will happen is drugs, drinking, violence and everything will get damaged. It's logical stuff I honestly don't know why there isn't anything like it in Irthlingborough

  • There used to be many clubs but then the youth changed and they vandalized the clubs so they gave up.

The skating youths got everything in motion for an area in the recreation park and raised the money but then the residents of Manton Road started complaining that there would be too much noise and traffic. So even when they take the initiative people complain.

But I agree there is a need for somewhere for the youths to go but the places that used to be used were mainly sold as housing.

  • It appears the youth was dared on the promise of a fix who set light to the skip that caused the fire. The person was caught by a local lass who I'm told laid the youth out and then kept him pinned down until the Police arrived.

The houses around back were evacuated and even when they were allowed back they still had the gardens contaminated with Asbestos . The factory had been empty for years and has now been demolished ready for housing.

  • I cant deascribe how breath taking this video is, whom ever set the fire has so much to answer for, this wasnt just a factory or a playground for young youths to get there kicks, this was a family built business.
