Its in a mall but if you finish the story properly you get overtime because the helicoter crashes coming to pick you up and you have to escape by another way leading to what looks like a water treatment facility brilliant game ive had it since release never gets old for me

Dead Rising is very short, You can complete it in 6 hours only, in fact, you can ONLY complete it in 6 hours, the whole games based around a 3 day time limit (game time) which is around 6 hours real time.

Well if you notice in the intro. The colour of the chopper is the same as the WGON news chopper from Dawn Of The dead (1978), and the music is from start of Predator.

Dead Rising is great, but you know what would be better? An FPS online zombie survival game! It would have large maps like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., realistic combat like Battlefield 2, and horror like Resident Evil.

if you have ever seen Dawn of the Dead or read about the story line you would understand that when these people are zombies,they still have human instincts and that is why they have come to the mall, since this town is alittle town, population 53,000 that would make for 53,000 zombies in the game, and the shopping mall was the biggest thing in that town, that is the only human memory they have and thats why zombies have marched towards a mall. instincts and memorys.
