Whereas the song in the Hindi version eulogises the freedom movement for the entire subcontinent without reference to any religious sentiments, the Urdu version is explicitly nationalist. The part of the lead boy is acted by Rattan Kumar, who acted in both Jagriti and Bedari! This needs more research.
Indian version is older one which shows that Pakistani version is the duplicate one. But this is poor fate of Pakistanis that they get to listen this song since their birth and they consider it original one and proud about the creativity of their countrymen.

Agree to what u say. Cultures societies evolve, and once they make amends we move on. The European Reformation displaced Christianity as a political force. The concept of fighting for a personal God, supremacy of a particular faith is a Middle eastern concept. Killing for religion was invented by Christians and perfected by Muslims. Hinduism as you allege was never an organized religion. 'HInduism' - it is a collection of streams of philosophies of which Buddhism is one. Bedari (Urdu/Pakistani Production). Released 6 December 1957. Jagriti (Hindi/Indian Production). Released 1954. Clearly, the Hindi version is the original and the Urdu version a plagiarisation. Whereas the song in the Hindi version eulogises the freedom movement for the entire subcontinent without reference to any religious sentiments, the Urdu version is explicitly nationalist. The part of the lead boy is acted by Rattan Kumar, who acted in both Jagriti and Bedari! This needs more research.
