3 mins more or male bonding dialog that has nothing to do with moving the story forward. The footage goes black and white so I know the Zombie is coming from nowhere and then he trips...the Zombie stabs him? WTF, so these are not Zombies or they are tool using Zombies. And with growling that loud everyone would have been out of their tents. And the guy doesn't scream for help he just runs off doesn't warn anyone. Its just one guy attacking him there are four of them. You can fix this in editing.
I do not think it matters that it goes to black/white. If you watch a slasher movie you hear the killers music or you see it from his perspective when something is about to go down. About the zombie using a knife to stab the guy; I've seen movies where zombies talk, fire guns, listen to walkmans, etc. It is not clear if they are even zombies. Yes the characters in the tents would have heard the zombie. The character runs away because I wanted to show him as a coward and not the hero.
I'm gonna undelete my other comments on the other pages if they seem harsh just delete them. Again know that I realize filming this much is a lot of work and no ones first film is their best film...its just their first film.
