the danish law says emergency vehicles must have wig-wags ?

In France unmarked 307 and mondeos only have one magnetic blue light they put on the roof or on the dash... No wig-wag or other things.

@ttgn19 Yes, Danish Emergency Vehicles must be equipped with wig-wags that flashes between 60-120 times per minute, at least one 360 degree blue flashing light and a two-tone siren, they're allowed to add more lights and different siren tones, but those are the legal requirements.

In France most of emergency vehicles use gyroleds, leds with a rotating effect, to respect the french law, and replacing halogen rotators (watch?v=wLC-iLmEpc8 and watch?v=tJrBm8cgHzM), even though more and more use the "classic" led like in your vid (watch?v=S7vrDYfEJb8 and watch?v=8m7Cxg6EQ-k). These ones are more effective, to my mind.

@call17police Yes and no, unmarked cars are supposed to be able to drive around without being noticed when not responding, and having grille lights and bumper lights would make it stand out.

All these are fairly old, newer unmarked cars has Grille LEDs as well as a rubbish LED beacon.

Here In France its the same.. well its more shit! older cars have one rotating light, newer have one gyroled! some cars like government cars, police cars for VIP transport... have grill leds, + leds on the dash and sometimes also a gyroled or a rotating light

@call17police in Germany unmarked cars also have just 1 strobe light on the roof, not even wig-wags. Newer ones got an LED light instead of the strobe - not very much at all but enough that other cars see you and you can go very fast, also in the city
