Aston Martin quite plainly declared that they have nothing to prove with this car...it's just a showcase of the kind of things Aston Martin can do, Aston don't give a shit about Nurburgring times, or basic performance stats, (although the odd 700bhp + V12 is very impressive)...they just wanted to make an amazing car, with a huge budget, made out of brand new parts...(not not recycled bits to lower the price...) This car ticks all the hyper-car boxes...
