@awsomeboo listened to it for the first time in 1987 on phono with headphones. Must admit, had to keep listening---and it grew on me. I know all the songs, now they are are a part of me. Just good music like all of Genesis's creation old and new.

On account of this, I listened to side 1 of The Lamb. When I first heard it I could not help but follow the lyrics. Now I think "stuff the lyrics" - what at a magnificent MUSICAL achievement. I'm surprised Gabriel could concentrate on his story with all that amazing music going on.

It seems like it took 30 years for this work to be appreciated...doesn't surprise me. They were so far ahead of their time...Radiohead reminds me of them in that respect...I just came to discover them at 58 years of age.
