christ this video a year old already lol time goes fast. you still got this little bad boy, wanna here some good old cheese along with your rs and your juno lol
@kingofkeyboards Yeah.., it's crazy that a year has passed already. I still have it. Funny thing is it's in the exact same place the previous owner put it for 20+ years. I got it wrapped in a soft cloth cover on the top shelf in my closet ;-) I've been wanting to post some more vids.., but have been under the weather for the last few weeks.
Wow, that thing looks REALLY good! I still have mine. It's pretty beat up though, works like great though. I've noticed that your plays the songs slower than mine. Mine's faster. I remember when I first got this thing, my brother, sister and I fought over the thing.
@snowsorceress Yeah.., it looks brand new. It clearly had very little use over the years. Most likely purchased for a child who never showed any interest.
Had one too. miss it... The sounds of the early 90's, late 80's.... man wish i hadnt given it to my little brats for cousins... they destroyed it... ='(
Oh man the MK's keys seem like gold compared to the size of the PT's keys :) Just for shits and giggles I'll post a vid of me playing a jam to one of the preset rhythms... It'll just drip of cheese!
oh man Greensleeve haven't heard that cheesy casio rom in years.........I learn to play every song on that rom pack........oh man thanx 4 the memories
I swear there wasn't a keyboard made in the 80's by Casio and Yamaha that didn't have Greensleeves as either a demo or a "learn to play" song. I was already a young teen when this model came out and was already playing larger synths by this time.., but had the PT-87 for a year to beat on :)
Oh yeah, proper cheesy! Sounds like it has the same monophonic sounds as my pt-30, which is funny because that cost me £1 as it happens. I'm guessing your fingers fitted on the keys a little better the first time you owned one! Though you managed quite well, they have mini-mini-mini keys don't they!
Yup..., monophonic all the way and it probably is very close if not the same sound source as the PT-30 (Casio squeezed a lifetime out of one cheesy sound set). Those little iddy bitty ultra-micro mini keys are a nightmare! The first time I owned this back in 1987 my fingers did fit a little better :)

Mine's up in a closet now ;-) I figure I'll pull it out of storage in another 20 years to see if it'll fire up.

Thanks..., I'm surprised I found one in such good condition. It was hardly used at all by the previous owner.
