Actually, I think any Scandinavian winter is all about the same. It's the Summertime that's really unique between Norway, Sweden and Finland. (having personally seen all summers, Finnish summer is the greatest).

But don't take any of this the wrong way, no matter where you are in the world, Summer is always such a relaxing time of the year.

honest to god, are you really saying that??? the climate is brutal, and quebec city had a hockey team called the nordiques. plus there is an area called territoire nordique in northern quebec. and half of the people in canada are probably swedish or finnish or norwegian anyways

we Canadians get enough snow to build giant ice castles every year. also the vikings came here 200 years before Columbus did and left cuz it was too cold, haha i actually doubt that was the reason but whatev....

great atmosphere and a sense of majesty. The drums (at least the snare) sounds computerized. This, to me, detracts from the earthy, natural feel.

This is fucking awesome! I thought that the only great music to come out of Canada would be the industrial groups such as Skinny Puppy. I am a huge fan of both black metal and industrial. So this makes me happy. :D
