Karpinnen's last 12 strokes are amazing -- he rows through the world champion in 10 strokes...check PK's rating shift for the last 15 strokes, and retains all his swing and run. Devastating. THE sprint of all time.

Kolbe was one of the greatest rowers in the Rowing history but sadly he was contemporany of Karpinnen. The result of this race was repeated some times more.....first Karpinnen and secodn Kolbe...but nobody can forget Kolbe is a great champion too.

What a beautiful and cruel sport rowing is, isn't it? Hats off to the great duo Peter & Pertti, and to PMK's technique and bravery! It takes a lot of courage to race this way, like him and the Abbagnale brothers did. Maybe, if he only didn't have 30 extra seconds because of the headwind...
