no u dont use glue u use tracks and bobby pins to hold it in place and go from there.

Ok so you are going to pull all your natural hair up into a pony and secure with a rubber band. Then you will take some end wraps (the ones you use when you rod hair) or you can use paper strips. You want to wrap this around the base of your pony where your rubber band is and secure it with another rubber band. That way when you begin glueing your track around with the glue, it won't get into the hair because the paper is protecting it (any latex glue will due, I use natty)

This is a video from Ann the updo queen so I can't take her credit but thanks on her behalf. When I do this style I use Vavoom holding spray or a working spray. I then use IC polish mist for a shine. HTH

Question, what is the best hair extension to use for updos and whats the best for down styles? I have experienced some crazy hair in the past...like Dajavu Hair and i sued a Yaki hair this past weekend and it didnt hold heat or my curls...what do you suggest?

This is 12 inch yaki hair. Do Not Use Silky hair because you will have a hot mess on your hands. The pony it attached by glue. You knot clients real hair in a ball, add a neck strip and secure it with a rubber band, then begin to glue the track hair around it starting at the top.

Hi, have a questions. Firstly your work is beautiful. One of my issues i have is making sure that the hair has a finished look. Meaning, ive seen some styles that have a hard look to updos because the whole head is spritz. So what products are good to get that shine to it and what tips you have for making hair well put together?
