I served as a host for a Miss America in Chicago one year and learned first-hand how intelligent, polished, sincere and generous these ladies are, plus first-hand that they are workhorses! I learned about how they travel very light,how they keep their wardrobes fresh each day, are particularly kind and thoughtful to children, and count on their chaperone to keep everything right side up (no liquor or cigarettes ever in photos they're in). I was impressed at the great respect they get, too.
