It's not a dream guys, it's another relality.

The flashes are coming from Lois's expereinces in the future.

Basically when she got zapped out by the legion ring in the season finale, she ended up in the future. This is where herself and a future Clark made love.

Its pretty obvious she has no memory of it when she comes back - and that's where the flashes come in.

Watching an interview with Erica from comic con she talks about getting flashes of the future when she's back. The interview states she has flashes of things she experienced. I can only assume this is one of them (which should make for some interesting scenes between Lois and Clark as I'm sure she will act awkward after the flash.) and that would definitely make the FOS a possibility for location, I wonder what causes the flashes??
