My view of this is somewhat similar.

All science and tech will find some kind of Synergy, and melt together to make a special future. if its 2040 or 2100 I cant tell, but many off these things will probably be reality, for some! Remember, that even if we today in the wealthy part of the worlds have computors and powerfull fun electronics, majority of the world still heat their food over a fireplace (firewood). So, even if Death is cured, it will take a long time for the entire earth to see it.

Many of the things shown are avaiable today. Most of them will be avaiable in 5 years time. Almost none of them can be linked to 2040. It all won't be mainstream, and most people will be poor, poisoned and deseased. If this suppose to be the year 2040, then why is the scene at 1:40 from back in 2007? I recognize it as the Living Roof at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, which was completed in 2008.

Alot of inovative photos, and I would look forward to seeing them built, but clearly they are not all as futuristic as we might first think.
