@OleMissFanForever Croom is completely forgotten.In all of Mississippi State's mediocrity over the years, they've always had a pretty good and sometimes extremely good defense,but the defense spent 40 plus minutes on the field due to a non existent offense.Now we're seeing a defense that could still be pretty good, coupled with an offense that could be very good and that could be a great combination. Not in my lifetime have things looked this good, but I'm realistic, A LOT HAS YET TO BE PROVEN!

we sat next to this guy again this past saturday when we played vandy. he had a ole miss glittery suit on...as usual, he danced the whole game long. i tried to get him to do the worm on the bleachers, as i had seen him do it before..but the bleachers were too wet,he said.(it had rained). my roommates cousin was dancing with him, making fun..it was pretty funny, i'll probably be posting it on here soon.
i would rather have won an overall SEC championship in the last 60 years instead of coming in second. sherril wasnt as great as state fans make him out to be. When you look at his era at state it wasnt that great. that being said Croom has the most respect from me out of any coach in the SEC. he's a good christian man who actually cares about the kids and not just the game. i think that he is actually better for state more than Jackie was.

When was the last time Ole Miss won a SEC Champinship, period? Even in football? At least we smelled one in '98. Y'all haven't been to ATL since '63.

grimas, to expand on Huskerfan's comment, apparently stupidity is a requirement for Ole Miss also. Jerrell Powe, 2.0 GPA, 15 on the ACT. Yet, UM has admitted him as a regular student. I'm assuming it won't be long before the professors there (or lack thereof) "pull some strings" so he can play football, too.
