One of my favorite songs.

It should be pointed out that the "Disney girl" shot shows the blonde wearing the mouse shirt with the mice and noses in very interesting positions.

This is a beautiful song about a time of childhood innocence, and the video was completely ruined by adding the picture of the tramps from MardiGras with their "Micky boobs"....WALT DISNEY WOULD NOT APPROVE and neither do I!

This is my second favourite version, after Bruce Johnston's solo performance on the Old Grey Whistle Test.

The Beach Boys' version is too "sleepy" but that was down to Bruce's production. I wasn't alive during their dominance but they stand alone as the most i-n-n-o-v-a-t-i-v-e band ever ..... imo.

I completely agree. The Beach Boys didn't do justice to this song as much as they should have. Only Bruce singing solo brings this emotion to it. Amazing lyrics which could explain Art's decision to cover the song.
