It was a blunder to be on the show, a venue beneath his office, I think it harmed his credibility and was inappropriate; there was a reason his predecessors had not ventured into the realm of variety show/ comedy show after obtaining office.
Obama doesn't have to follow the same script as his predecessors. For better or for worse, he campaign as a new kind of leader, i'm glad he's making an effort to actually live up to that. Yeah, the special olympics thing was a bad joke, but that's all it was.

People need to support USA goods buy American made goods. Dont have the mind set of the 70s and 80s. That it cool,rebelish, to just not care and buy foriegn goods. Many of our polititians & media would have you believe this, they're in the back pockets of many foriegn companies And just like sheep many people follow them. Dont be a sheep help American workers out be Patriotic buy and look for USA goods in stores and on line We can not wait and be sheep to paid off polititains
Totally agree with the two people in the clip who said people were getting too nitpicky about everything. People should just lighten up and have a sence of humor about themselves and not take everything so personally and wine about details. Otherwise you can`t say anything without fear of being made out to be a racist and a bad person in some way and thats no good. He didn´t mean anything bad about what he said- just made a joke that maybe was a little misplaced- se la vie- no big deal at all.

I don't think it is, it encourages people to see political persuasion by big corporate interests as normal and acceptable, and just part of the background noise of everyday life, so they reduce their guard against being sold a bill of goods.
