They only used the same stupid effekt all the time. And put all the scares at the most clishee things ever. One example of a stupid scene is when they see a little spot of blood on the floor. And then you see that it comes from the roof. From there you are ready for the cheap scare. All the scenes was like that -.-.

I wondered if the ghost girl in the corner of the room was someone who got trapped there like them. You don't see what happens to the black guy, the girl, or Lance. The first 2 disappear, and Lance was lobotomized but alive. If when Matt died he would have become a damned spirit there? Maybe if they died there their spirits would be lost there forever too like the evil psychiatrist? Maybe there was a demon, and they only ever saw its ghost prisoners? The ritual & book at the end suggest so.

I had only 1 total problem with this movie: The demons were fucking with the white chick so much. I dont have a problem with that i just dont like how they killed her off... She didnt really die she dissapeared in spoke. Come on all that torture just to dissapear in spoke? But i 100% agree after i seen that movie i didnt want to sleep in the dark xD

@AirProxy (Spoiler for those who haven't seen it) You assume she was killed off in the smoke, but if you think about it, that could be totally incorrect. It's obvious that they stepped into an alternate demonic world when they go through the "Death Awaits" doors and are still in the asylum.Time and space were warped. If you think about it, there is nothing to say that when the guy vanishes in the blood tub and the girl in the smoke, that they weren't just separated and tortured alone elsewhere.

grave encounters was the best horror i 've ever seen till now , in paranormal activity u get to wait , and their are in a luxury house , but the climat of the movie make u creeped out from the 1st sec they entered the hospital

i find it a shit load better than paranormal activity, grave encounters was really the only scary movie that made me want to not go to the bathroom at night, haha. one of the absolute best mockumentary shaky cam horrors so far in my opinion.

and this one was in a place wer even you feel like your lost.but i got disapointed when they broke thru the door.that saidc"death awaits" if you compare the letters when they go in,with the moment they try to brake out,the letters places dont match.

Good review. captured the film perfectly....... The film had a great balance af horror comedy and pycological thrillings sceens. I beleive it is the best movie of its kind ever 10/10 for me
