  • i never knew donnie yen was in this movie until after watching ip man..

  • Hollywood does not know how to use this legends of martial arts, they worry to much about safety(not a bad thing) but they limit too much the fighting, also they love to put 2 or 3 fights at the same time just like that crap of cradle to the grave, a big time oppurtunity with Mark Dacascos vs Jet Li for an epic fight, yet we have DMX, Gabrielle Union and Tom Arnold interrupting the action, Anthony Anderson Rules! bottom line long live Hong Kong movie making for us martial arts junkies!

  • After fighting with the iron monkey, as being the iron monkey, getting killed by jackie chan's sister and sammo hung. That's incentive to being ip man

  • this is a terrible fight

  • YEAAA DONNIE BEAT JACKIE CHANS ASS

  • @brickhousemonkey it all choreographed. we dont know what would happen in a real fight.

  • @iluvducks1234 Still think Donnie yen would beast on jackie chan anytime

  • Wow, I didn't rem seeing Donnie in this movie

  • some much unecessary focus on the gun..should focus more on the fighting..

  • Piss poor choreographed fight scene. Honestly American films can't capture the intensity of a fight like those overseas.

  • Jackie can take more hits than donnie

  • such great choreography wasted on cutting room floor!

  • It's pretty clear that Jackie Chan had more influence in the fight scenes in Noon and Knights, unlike the Rush Hour series. I lost respect for Bret Ratner after his treatment of Jackie Chan when he worked with him on those movies. In the behind the scenes footage Jackie was cleary fustrated with Ratners constant veto of his idea's and creativity. Why the hell would you hire the most creative martial artist in the industry and not use his ideas? That's why the fights in those movies sucked.

  • @TheDalinkwent - That's exactly why I didn't care for the Rush Hour films either. Bret Ratner clearly did not respect Chan's style of film-making. So all the Rush Hour films ended up lacking any "final showdown." It pissed me off so bad. At least in the Shanghai Noon/Knight films Chan has some control over the uniqueness of the fights. Unfortunately, as we see from this scene, the directors think westerners can't hold an attention span for lengthy fight scenes. So they shorten it

  • @JazzyZenBrotha, I've never understood the logic of a fight scene being too long when that's the main reason people pay to see the movie in the first place. Yes Wilson can be funny and Jackie as well, but it's the fights people payed to see. It's like a saying a comedy is too funny. Studio's don't know what the hell they're talking about sometimes.

  • @TheDalinkwent - EXACTLY!! People who enjoy Martial Arts films go to see these films for the fight scenes. Bret Ratner doesn't understand that. YET he claims he was a fan of Bruce Lee & Jackie Chan's films. He's a hypocrite & a lackluster director who also destroyed X-Men 3. Anyway, instead of an awesome POLICE STORY or WHO AM I-styled finale for Rush Hour, Ratner limited Chan & thus we got a lame, non martial arts finale. Like u said, studios don't know what they're talking about

  • ip man won against jackie chan

  • NOOOOOO!!!!!!! Donnie Yen died :(.

I love you!! (no homo, okay maybe a little) He is so much better than Jackie Chan.

  • no one beat ip man

  • this proves Donnie Yen > Jackie Chan =)

  • jackie's sixter kild donnie

  • anyone know what the moves are called at 1:02?

  • awesome windmill donnie yen

  • ouch, jackie couldn't even land a hit. ahhahaha, what a harsh director. not even a fight. tsk tsk

  • Jeeze, I had absolutely no idea this was Donnie Yen. On a Youtube spree after watching Ip Man...

  • @Krelus me 2 xD

  • @Krelus lol

  • Just call a truce for a second and turn of that machine gun.

  • Jackie incorporates Chairs, tables, and other stuffs in his stunts. Just imagine that.

  • Jackie is the stuntman, and for me he's the best. But I am a big fan of Donnie Yen too

  • 3:39 Donnie's trademark triple kick!!!!

  • The reason I originally wanted to see this movie was to see Jackie and DOnnie go at it. I was sorely disappointed to see that in the original version, this scene was severely cut. Thanks for posting this extended version!

  • idc if jackie lost, its the enroll play follow thru the movie!theyre both good jackie has the amazing movies one of the kung fu cleb star in usa. its good to have em and donnie yen! jackie rules

  • no one can beat ip man!

  • Of course Donnie's better. Jackie's 57. Donnie's only 48. Donnie's younger than both Jet and Jackie.

  • @Brutaka921

Donnie and Jet are the same age

  • LOL its mulan! the firework getting the baddie and everything

  • She said.. hey those Bamboo Hat come over here.. the bamboo hat beat her up.

  • TRAN CANH SINH... CHAN TU DAN...

  • jackie's characters have never been good at sustained fights against characters that rival his character in kung fu skills lol

  • god damnit donnie stop messing around and use your wing chun! hah

  • @doublebassrox he doesn't now wing chun when this was made he started learning it when he made ip man just like he stared to learn bjj and a hole lot of diffent martial art because he is a avid watcher of mma as you can see in spl and flashpoint

  • @mystique666 yes, i knew that. it was a joke. He also does some hung gar

  • Ever heard of getting the fuck out the way donnie I love ya bro but come on I kneo

  • this fight is better than the real movie fight.

this one, there is more hand to hand combat.

  • DONNIE CAN WIND MILL?!!??!

  • @Junishification Donnie knows hotw to Bboy. He made a filmed called Mismatched couples where he's a breakdancer.

  • I WANT TO LEARN KUNG-FUSE...WAIT WHAT???

  • LoL. Poor Donnie.

  • this is worse than getting pushed out the window by Sammo Hung

  • @Zorghen lmao!

  • That rocked!! Aw....Donnie got blown up. I LOVE these two guys. Jackie is so funny!

  • dude where did you get this???? awwwsoooomeeeee

  • You people remind me of kids outside a dojo watching 2 masters sparring

  • i just recently saw ip man and said 'this dude is better than jackie chan and jet li'. not knowing i had already seen him in this movie. well, the proof is here. jackie couldn't really beat him, even if it was scripted. they had to blow him up! lol...donnie is hella good. ip man was phenomenal.

  • Noob tubed!

  • SHANGAI KNIGHTS!

  • How silly of donnie letting that rocket launcher blow him into smithereens.

He saw the sparks but didn't dive or duck.

What da hell, I could of done better in that situation!

  • Very 1st ,Donny's wing chun style is fast only. But his other moves like punches & kicks are as fast as jackie & jet.I have already watched his many fights & so is my conclusion.

& here, jackie choreographed this fight like that.as well as Jackie is 9 years old than donnie(& jet also).

In flashpoint collin chou already show his MA skill which is as tough as donnie. Then imagine if there was jackie with same age as donnie, then there is real skill show.

So extremely sorry for donny's fan.

  • theres always gotta be that one jack off who disikes the video

  • haha, she lit him up literally

  • I don't get why Donnie Yen fans are so bitter...Jackie Chan lost. It was just for the sake of the movie (good guys have to win somehow...) that they killed him off, albeit very cheaply, by having the sister come to the rescue.

  • On the original movie CD go to the extra features and jackie chan talks how after this movie him and donnie yen did a real spar ( fight) and donnie yen was just to fast and his counter was perfect.

  • @GundamTallgeese Realy so jackie chan lost??

  • the ending left a bitter taste in my mouth, fucking Hollywood

  • To the untrained eye it looks like Fann Wong fired fireworks at Donnie, but in actual fact he defeated Jackie, thus succeeding in what he set out to do. Then he flew away and disappeared in an explosion of awsomeness.

  • @usedont1 - LMAO

  • my two favorite martial artists....im in love....

  • 1:06 Damn! Jackie Chan got lucky!!! lol

  • this is like mulan lolol

    what movie is this?

  • IMO Jackie is the shit, and he entertains me far more than Donnie.

  • Donnie "MotherFucken" Yen Rulez! JC is just for show.. As far as Jet Li, he's a good fighter but i still think Donnie Yen is better....

  • Donnie "MotherFucken" Yen Rulez!

  • woah! donny goes 'with a bang!'

  • 4:12, is it me or did they totally jock this from Mulan?

  • @RobDaFob Nope that was revenge for what he did to the other kid in Drunken tai chi.

  • @daoyinyang lol it was just a joke, bruh,

  • @RobDaFob I know mine was a joke too. If you've seen drunken tai chi master then you would understand what I was trying to say. lols

  • dope means cool/awesome

  • I still remember the first time I saw this scene. Opened my mind even then, and I'm a martial artist lol

  • omg look at donnie at 3:40

  • @DooKNo1 I think it's kinda unfair to say that 'none of them were useful'. They learnt authentic kungfu which involved both defense and offense styles. As I said, JC only looks like a joker because he chooses to fight impractically while DY has a more technical style. I know you're trying to defend DY, and you don't need to. I too had admired DY for his choreography and commitment to MA. I'm not trying to say DY is not good, I'm just imploring you to not undermine JC's skills.

  • This is why I like Jackie, he doesn't mind showing himself losing a fight in his movies. Btw Donnie Yen is a beast!!

  • Jackie Chan WINS :) Donnie it's a great fighter, thumbs up

  • Donnie Yen is a real fighter while Jackie Chan is just a clown, so u really can't compare the two... :/

  • Amazing... I would love to fight like that

  • jackie chan is a good fighter but alot of times he uses his surrounding

donnie yen kicks ass using only his hands and feet

  • This is a Movie not a true fight of either fighters true abilities in a real fight. Most of the comments I seen are mostly bias due to the popularity of Donnie Yen. I like both fighters and both are very well trained Martial Artist. As being one myself and I am sure if either two would read this I am sure they would agree. This is way I hate movies that put good competitors against one another because of ignorant comments like the ones I see for this video.

  • lol at 1:00 donnie starts to break dance :D

  • Funny how one Singaporean gets here. LOL

  • Donnie is so inspiring :)

  • i think every time donnie yen hits somebody he should just yell unconscious cause thats what pretty much always happens haha

  • Jackie Chan & Donnie Yen....i just came :O

  • what a let down... donnie died coz he got fireworked not defeated

Jackie's moves are really rigid and stiff and he likes fighting with tools (making them funnier)

Donnie is more serious (cudgel) and has smoother moves coz of his tai chi background and he actually fought ppl when he was young so he knows the drill

  • proof that jackie chan cannot defeat donnie yen

  • @CarnkThatShit Sorry bro but that is a very ignorant statement. This is a Movie not a true fight of either fighters true abilities in a real fight.

  • @CarnkThatShit like i said before jackie chan arrange how the fight scenes are done and this was doonie yen 1st movie in the states so of course he would make it look like donnie was beating the dog piss out of him

  • there goes donnie yen using his wing tsun

  • @damitztommy hes not using it in this movie lol.

  • @damitztommy donnie yen didn't know wing chun back when he was fighting jackie he just start to learn it when he was doing ip man from surprise sammo hung jackie's big brother from Peking Opera School so get your facts right please and i love both jackie and donnie film]

  • man just think of what the musical composers of these films have to go through when trying to come up with good music for certain scenes.

  • donnie yen played ip man his wing chun is even better an i always thought he could beat jackie chan

  • I LOVE BOTH OF THEM :)) THEY ARE BOTH GREAT MARTIAL ARTISTS AND BOTH OF THEM ARE LOVABLE :))

  • he died the same way as Shan Yu in Mulan....XD

  • i don't look for jackie chan for martial arts movie anymore, more of an entertainer really... donnie yen still got it.

  • JaCKIE WINS! lol or his sister did lol

  • These are guys who deserve those big bucks for movies not guys like Owen Wilson and Charlie Sheen

  • weak jackie chan

  • I forgot how fast Donnie yen is.

  • Does anyone here realize this is a movie? Jackie invited Donnie to do this scene and Jackie coreographed the fight scene. So if Donnie looks awesome and beats Jacke thank Jackie for coreographing him that way. Donnie is an incredible martial artist and so is Chan though he downplays it in his films. Who is better? Who knows, who cares just enjoy watching the two masters at work.

  • @jcfan1979 did you see ip man?!?!? DONNY YEN WOULD KICK JACKIES ASS

  • @superclaw900 can you beat jackie ass? i aint gonna try

  • @spiderman5402 i never said i could, i just said DONNIE YEN WOULD BEAT JACKIES ASS!

  • @superclaw900 OK. If Jackie played the same role and performed the same moves (which he can) what would that mean in real life. Movie fights are made up and don't show real combat ability. One thing is for sure, Jackie can take a hit and keep on going, just look at all those outtakes where he gets banged up and keeps on going, So maybe the question is. Can Donnie Yen hit Jacke hard enough? But it's really all pointless unless they were actually fighting for real.

  • @jcfan1979 did you ever see donnie yen fight in real life? He's fucking amazing

  • @superclaw900 ......and where was he fighting in real life. What tournament? UFC? Kickboxing? Muay Thai? That's right no where. So you haven't seen him fight in real life either.

  • @jcfan1979

No point answering for someone when that person hasn't even responded. Besides, you don't know either. But just to break it down for you, Donnie has had a strong foundation in MA having trained wushu, tai chi and nothern shaolin since 4 and continued till his early teens and then moved on to other styles that was pretty much popular at the time: boxing, kickboxing, full contact karate, muay thai, tae kwon do etc and entered few competition for fight experiences.

  • @jcfan1979

Con... Then he started making films but it didn't stop him from continue learning as much as he could. Even at this time, he's still eager and humble to learn anything new. BTW, he has a reputation in Boston for streetfighting and at one point got into a gang fight in Hong Kong just after his TV work started airing on TV (go to donnieyen.us for more information). Hope that helps because if you want, you could do research yourself.

  • @jcfan1979 Donnie was trained in tai chi and wu shu when he was 4. When his family moved to the US when he was 11, he picked up tae kwon do, kickboxing and boxing. He then trained at the beijing wushu academy when he was 16 for three years under the same master as jet li. Jackie Chan is a clown compared to both donnie and jet :P

  • @tiger1chu OK. Jackie Chan was basically tortured and trained for 10 years straight since age 7. He has studied Northern and Southern Style kung-fu, hapkido, tae kwon do, boxing, karate, and judo just for starters. He is/was in prime physical condition and we all know he can take a hit/beating due to his stunts etc. So you really think that he's a pushover or clown because he plays a comedian? But neither have competed in real fighting tournaments so I guess they are both jokes huh?

  • i'm sorry.. but Donnie owns all. In a real fight, his speed is just unmatchable.

  • No discussions:

    Donnie yen still the best

  • Donnie Yen Windmill!!!!

  • DONNIE YEN DOES A FREAKING WINDMILL AT 1:02!!!!

  • Jackie Chan's hair is epic. Peace out.

  • whenever you see jacky loose fight with someone on his movie,,thats mean real.jacky orginally not real fighter but donnie, jet lee, tony jaa..does

  • death....by....firework

  • donnie yen's only dialogue: AAHHRRGGHH!! UMPH UMPH!! OMPH!

  • @Kubilay12

    Right on, buddy!

  • Donnie seems to age very well.

  • Donnie Yen is the MASTER!

  • no donnie...NOOOOOO

  • i am surprised donnie yen is in this movie :O

  • Typical Jackie Chan fight......always use gimmicks on the side...either a building collapsing or an off the leash minigun....Lame!!!

  • Shanghai Knights XD

  • jackie and donnie are both the best at what they do jackie is especially for comedy/action and donnie is well for fighting both of them r totally different people different great superb people

  • I love both, yeah! two great martial artists

  • WOW! Even his final scene was dynamic!

  • Why the HELL wasn't this the version of the fight that went into the actual movie???

  • Damn, Donnie owns Jackie's ass

  • donnie yen kicks jackie chans ass anyday

  • @ochocincoTO

I love Donnie Yen but get the fuck outta here. Jackie Chan would own his ass any day

  • donnie is so badass here

  • Donnie is explosed

  • Wow.. Donnie yen uses awesome fighting styles, but jackie seems to be using simple fights.. Idk much about fights but i can see that donnie yen is really good.

  • Even in minor roles Donnie still kicks ass

  • Donnie Yen the best

  • i forgot donnie yen was in this

he makes a very good yip man

  • Donnie rules

  • 4:16 hilarious

  • doesnt 4:12 remind anyone of the scene in the losers of when aisha shoots a rocket to save cougar, jenson and pooch?

  • I love how Donnie fights, he's always silent.

  • jackie chan have more hit pt than Donnie lolz!

  • to say donnie yen is better than jackie chan..its just that jackie chan needs to win in this movie :)

  • @mymoneyisyourmoney yep but he doesnt win, the girl wins xD

  • Thanks.

They should've kept this in the movie

  • is this a deleted scene or an international version scene???

  • Jackie chan is a moviestar, Donnie Yen isn´t a moviestar!

It´s a film Jackie Chan has made mor movies than Donnie Yen and Jackie´s movies are better.

I like Donnie but Jackie chan is better.

  • @DrAgOnPuSh36 wth? donnie is a moviestar and all because he isn't greedy about hollywood doesn't mean he isnt one.

  • Donnie yen=awesome

bad ending to that fight, though

  • yeah donnie yen is a bit of a bad ass

  • Actually, Jackie CHan is a real Ninja!

He fights with everything that's just lying around.

  • I'm sorry but that fireworks ending was shit.

  • even if donnie yen is a better kung fu fighter than jackie chan i think jackie chan is the best because he learn karate, taekwondo ,hapkido ,martial arts and also kung fu

  • Donnie plays a good villain.

  • @skylar337 he also plays a good hero.

  • i really love the trio of sammo hung, jackie and yuen they are all amazing they may not be that invincible always in the movie but they have done so much in hongkong cinema don't get me wrong jet and donnie is awesome but specifically jet li is sometimes too much and not that really realistic... i want to see him fight benny the jet though...

  • if Donnie Yan really fight with Jacky Chan seriously, Jacky Chan that shit will lie on the bed in hospital early.

  • DONNIE YEN IS FAST!!!!
