I remember having most of these particular toys, but I specifically remember that Optimal Prime and Megatron (the bat and alligator) were the last toys I ever got, most likely because the toy stores didn't have them at the time.

When I was 9 I orginally wanted Waspinator because I thought he looked cool. I ended up getting Dinobot for Christmas or something. Then I watched the show and I thought, 'Ya know, I'm glad I got Dinobot instead!'

yo i remember this commerial from when I used to watch Cartoon Network. It came on during a Speed Rcer commercial break. I have it on tape and many other 90s commercials. Attention TF and BW FANS...the narrator of this commericial is the sme narrator for the TF SERIES, and the TF MOVIE! You cant help but pay close attention to this narrator when he speaks! It's just like the original Optimus Prime voice actor-whose doing the narration for nearly all the Toonami commericials!

@Bakurakrazie originally waspinator as supposed to be a serious threat, but since he was scripted to buzz before talking, he would be shot so he wouldnt have to talk. Somone found it funny and the rest is history

I remeber in that little comic, they show small action of Bat, Alligator, along with Wasp, Cheetos(^_^), Spider, and a Boar(think was the original idea for Rhinorax), back cover shows that Scorpion & a White Polar Bear(could this be original idea for Tigaron, who knows?)

I was referring to commercials like some of the GI Joe ones, which would do stuff like feature those "flying" (with the big helicopter thing and the pull cord) GI Joes and make them look like they could be controlled with fishing line and stuff.

That's actually a fairly classy commercial. Shows a bunch of figures and what they can do, while never trying to make it look like they can do stuff on their own.
