Great video. I'm thinking about getting a budgie. I'd actually like to get two, because I've read that it's better for the birds to be in pairs or groups. However, I have also read that it is MUCH harder to tame and hand train in pairs. What are your thoughts?
i have 2 budgies. my female is 1yr old n my male is 3yrs+. i have never tamed a young budgie b4 but they have been 2gether 4 a year now. i have been taming my female within the past 6 days. i have found it easy to tame her she is now eating millet seed from my hand as soon as i put it to her beak. as 4 my male due to his age it is harder to tame him. however, he ate the millet from my hand twice if i left it on the stick at a distance. if u can tame 1 of them the other will follow.
if u need help taming them i am happy 2 make a video if u need me 2 on how 2 tame them. i have heard that teaching 2 budgies 2 speak can be nearly impossible but i have not properly attempted it yet. if u have any other questions do not hesitate to asl.
Yeah Bonjuk is a new budgie. They get along ok but they still fight sometimes (Bonjuk and Jijik) but nothing too serious, I usually stop them from fighting by saying ssssht.
Their fights are almost always about who goes on the perch near the cage bars, they both wanna be there so they have fights about it.
Bonjuk is still a baby budgie, he was 2 months old when I first got him. So maybe it's also something to do with age difference, probably budgies the same age get along better.

i use to have 2 budgies
The male was blue and the female was full white.
LOL the funny part is the female attacks the male, even outside of their cage.
she attacks him on the head and she chases him around the house.
when i got them the breeder said the male is older than the female by 2 months
