Saying Tibet was illegally occupied by China is like saying Texas was illegally occupied by the US. China has actual claims to the area since the mid 9th century. While it certainly was a semi-autonomous state, it was subject under China's rule. It only became independent due to the British invading Tibet.
Plus, the Dalai Lama's government ruled a cruel, draconian society who enslaved under religious pretenses. And while China's rule is pretty bad, its still better.

Saying Tibet was illegally occupied by China is like saying Texas was illegally occupied by the US. China has actual claims to the area since the mid 9th century. While it certainly was a semi-autonomous state, it was subject under China's rule. It only became independent due to the British invading Tibet.
Plus, the Dalai Lama's government ruled a cruel, draconian society who enslaved under religious pretenses. And while China's rule is pretty bad, its still better.

Genuine history is respected by the whole world! It is history and it is present reality that there was no country and there is no country in the world accepted tibet as an independent country since 1240!!
The world didn't consider qing and yuan dynasty as foreign countries, for centuries, they were Chinese government, although they were not han.
