  • Again the same thing happened to me except worse. The other person was going 30 and rear ended me. I'm fine but my car was totaled.

  • Glad you didn't get seriously hurt. The roads yesterday here in Indy were iced, it was freezing rain, and i have a 2012 Toyota highlander limited and it shockingly maintained through that weather. Unfortunately, a car rear ended me, but it wasn't major nor nothing to get angry over, and accident is an accident.

  • Poor Buick :( What song is that at the end?

  • 1000 for the escape? in the picture it looked like it only needed only a bumper cover change and painting. :/

  • @fcastellanos1

The bumper cover needed painted, the foam core was destroyed, and I bent up the exhaust.

  • @CarPro1993 too bad. I guess insurance is in charge now with the expenses :/

  • Yep that sucks happened to an old friend of Mine recently

  • Take a hammer and knock it into place

  • @the454engine2009

That's alright, we bought a new bonnet already.

  • same thing happend to me on black ice

  • @carharttboy22

    Were you alright?

  • @CarPro1993 yea man i was good but my car is i lil fucked up it sucks

  • Lucky the airbags didn't go off. They hurt in low speed collisions....a lot.

  • @quantummechanic90

The Rivieras are sensitive in low-speed collisions, and the first thing that popped into my mind while I was sliding was, "Oh fuck, airbags!"

  • This makes me sad panda.

  • Oh man! Sorry to see that! The damage isn't bad though, new hood, bumper cover and impact foam, grill, and maybe the headlights if they're badly damaged.. But it shouldn't be too much to take care of, ring around your local salvage yards or eBay.. if they don't have what you need then look into RockAuto dot com. Your vids are awesome btw!

  • @wootness3000

I already ordered all the parts off eBay.

We've got a new Hood+Grille and a Right Headlight. The person repairing it said he'd try and fix up the bumper as best as possible. It's no biggie though. Only about $900 total worth of damage while the Escape has about $1,000

  • was the escape messed up at all?

  • @steve9509

A picture of it is at the end. It was primarily scratches and the foam inside. The chip on the taillight was there previously.

  • that sucks i hope your insurance rate doesnt sky rocket.

  • @bluedrangon69

We turned it in as an incident, but we aren't doing the repairs through the insurance, but here's hoping it doesn't go up!

  • Nice car man ! Keep driving it ...

  • "Like" the video, "Dislike" the outcome of the accident. At least your airbags didn't deploy, if that happened, that would be another huge cost to get new ones in.

  • @talldude123

As I realized how fast the car was sliding before I hit the Escape, the first thing I thought was, "Oh fuck, airbags!" But luckily they didn't deploy! I know that the Rivieras are really sensitive to frontal impacts!

  • @CarPro1993 Most airbags don't go off unless the accident is at a certain speed or outcome

  • @talldude123

I know, but I've seen Rivieras with less damage than mine, and the airbags have gone off.
