i kno the easyest way to do it

1) download win rar

2) righ click on the folder and click "add to archive"

3)when archiving tic the box that says "delete after achiving"

4)after doing that you have a rar file

5)DELETE THAT MOTHER FUCKER!!!!! :D

hi . i got a folder that i have been trying to delete for awhile now. i am running windows 64 bit .

the thing is when i try to manually delete it i get this error

" This is no longer located in C:/users/myname/desktop.Verify the location and try again"

When i try to remove it thru the command promt it tells "could not find file"

This empty folder is stuck on my desktop. and its becoming a pain in the butt. any advice on how to delete it would be appreciated.... =/

there is an easier way cant you just add it to a winrar archive, select delete fille when finished then delete the winrar archive? worked for me

The syntax: ren " " "foldername"

After you type: ren "

then you use the key combo ALT+255 which should produce a blank space then use ending quotes, then space then type "foldername" and press enter.

After renaming the folder as shown in my above comment, type: DEL /F /Q "foldername"

and press enter; that should delete it.

How can you delete it in your document folder?

Then press enter

and type: ren " " "newname"

then press enter and type: del /f /q "newname"

When renaming the file with the "ren" command make sure you use the ALT+255 key combo when specifying the file to rename it to.

after ren alt 0160, u hav 2 type dbouble quote, then alt 0160 then another double quote. then spack quote with name close with another quote

From windows vista siderbar, you can download a gadget that someone made from "get more gadgets online" on your sidebar menu. The gadget is called "matrix effect" which includes that full screen with animation. I simply pressed the "print screen" button on my keyboard while it was running and pasted it to paint and made it a background.
