Why would you even write this. The thing is clearly made out of wood or similar material, movements driven by a network of ropes, controlled by a load of guys. And I'm pretty sure if they were trying to pretend it's a real giant girl that they would have made some effort to hide the crane truck that holds it upright.

this is creepy, like and the bjork-music-like..gives me the willies. almost every culture's have its giants, mine particularly are mostly simbolize evil. we made a lot of giant dolls that in the end will burn, they are rarely friendly (that's why we have BFG, it simbolize over power).

be careful with those dolls, spirits will think it's a home and do weird things. I personally think it's a waste just for that, and i think most of the people who are watching live is super freaked out.

@AudriAndIzzy The men are sailors i forget what country, there skill is working with ropes, this is for a carnival or festival called "the sultans elephant" it's like a parade where they have giant marionettes interact with people. the story comes from a guy named jules verne, about a time traveling elephant and a little girl who was a giant to the people she visited.

Verne was famous for his book "journey to the center of the earth", he lived back in the 1840's

This is wonderful. Reminds me of the illustrations in Gulliver's Travels where the people are trying to tie him down except with the little "big" girl here, it is the opposite goal. Uncanny valley tends to terrify me, and I'd think she'd be a prime example, but for some reason she comes off as a rather loveable character. So surreal, stylized and out of scale, she's more like something out of a Gorillaz music video rather than something out of a nightmere.

For me it is not scary at all...though the puppet is quite lifelike so I understand what you mean when you say it is creepy. For me it is symbolic of the life God gives us (men and women/girls and boys)...like a coming out of slumber into our destiny--healed of the things that haunt/haunted us and the restoration to childlikeness that He makes and made possible for us all...the beauty of wonder, etc.
