I think it's nice that so many people are thrilled about Obama being our next president. I did vote for him. With that said I think ALL of us are putting way too much trust in the idea that ANY politician (Obama included) can actually make ANY positive changes to anything.
I've yet to see an American politician change this country for the better in my lifetime so far. I have seen Americans get fed up with the bullshit and change this country for the better though.
