When I first read that this was called "pick-a-pocket" and involved preschool children, I was highly skeptical. But the lovely Mrs. Kallevig actually has a great idea here; it's a great combination of educational development and igniting children's curiousity to learn. But, as a simple reminder, if using this technique, try to discourage your children from putting their hands in the pockets of strangers! It might cause some confusion!! lol
