Finlay/Swagger: Disappointing

Michaels/JBL: Slow but not bad, the psychology of the match was good

Smackdown Chamber: Not great, but good

Raw Chamber: Great

The problem with Finlay/Swagger was to me there was little to no emphasis. The crowd was dead for this one, which goes back to my original point on Swagger. Swagger does show charisma on how he presents himself, but thats treally it. Hes a decent wrestler, but he shows very little emphasis in his matches that ive seen. They need to slow down with him before he becomes another Bobby Lashley/Ahmed Johnson.

For Michaels/JBL, i dont see how this match was good. While it might have a built up story, the story in most eyes was nonsensical. I didnt enjoy the storyline either, so it kinda gave me no hope for this match being good. It was slow, and boring for the most part. And the fact HBK didnt get disqualified since his wife hit JBL, leaves me in more confusion.

Undertaker and HBK are my favorite wrestlers, but the fact these 2 together arent as great as everyone says is one reason why. Their HITC match is the most overated match ive ever seen. Also the teasing hasnt been there, and no RR 07 and 08 dont count. It would make more sense for throughout this year, they tease it, and have it happen at WM 26. Even then i wouldnt like it, but it would make more sense.

Oh ok, I think the reason why people want to see this happen is because this might be their last WrestleMania, which would be understandable if it's true, plus the fact that it would mean more if it happen at 25 rather than 26 since it's the Sliver Anniversary of the show and the fact that they both made Mania what it is today. i have to agree with u that the elimination chamber wasnt made out to be the carrer changing structure they make it out to be. but i dont see how someone couldnt enjoy watching this ppv it was what appv should be unpredictable noone expected edge to be eliminated so quickly which was a surprise and it was good to see a new world champ. and then it was an even bigger shock him interferring later that night and becoming new world champ. it was what u want it was unpredictable which makes it good

The chamber matches were pretty good, even Mike Knox did a good job.

But people tended to overhype it afterwards because of Edge.

I wouldn't give any chamber 5 stars, but 4 at least.

And I still consider the SD chamber as the better chamber.

And Edge beeing in the Raw chamber made it predictable.

It would've been much more interesting if Edge would've won the Raw chamber first and HHH won the WWE title afterwards.

In terms of Shane looking unbeatable, I think Vince did something similar, when Triple H beat on his family, and he even took Triple H's sledgehammer shots and got up like 5 seconds later pretty much beat up Triple H till Steph came in and Vince moved her from out of the way of Triple H's sledgehammer, thus when steph turned on vince. and went with triple h.

But in my opinion saving shane getting his butt beat tonight was a good way to end Raw. But nice differing opinion on the PPV anyway.

If he wouldve beatin the crap out of Shane, the Steph comes out and he kicks her in the head, it wouldve helped his momentum further. So even if he had no momentum, this hurt it worse. This match damaged what couldve helped Orton into Wrestlemania.

Orton is actually getting much more heat from the crowd now. he's being booked as a heel just as he was always intended to be booked. there's nothing wrong with the Mcmahons being the faces.

Edge had to get eliminated early, he was planned to win the Raw Chamber match, if he went long into the first match and got injured and was unable to compete in the second chamber WWE's plans would have been blown out the water.

I however, dont see the major hype in it. 2 Chamber matches, which didnt look like Carnages at all, they dont need to do high flying spots, but make the cage seem dominant, a boring ecw title match, a boring HBK/JBL match, and a poorly booked Orton/Shane match.

I thought Orton vs Shane match was poorly booked as well but it still doesn't make the match bad. The match was still very entertaining IMO. And the chamber matches were awesome too. I don't think you needed alot of big spots to make the Chamber good if that's what you're saying. It was alot of good wrestling and entertaining things that has happen. I agree I think Truthslayer overrated some things in the PPV but it was still a very entertaining ppv.

Even then, the match AT BEST was 2 3/4. The matches poorly booking does downgrade it, because this match downgrades Orton's credibility going into Wrestlemania. After that match, how am i suppose to buy him to have a chance against either HHH or Edge, when he can just BARELY beat Shane Mcmahon?

well bascially ur saying that shane shuld have never faced orton, because what other way could u have booked the match for it to be good? if shane didnt get alot of offense then that match wuld be very boring, so its either he gets no offense and the match sucks, or he does get offense and the match is good, which is what happend, and atleast orton won the match regardless of how it made him look, mick foley got a lot of offense against orton at backlash and orton still won the title that year

Actually yes, it shouldve been a big beatdown on Shane, and if not that, then it shouldve ended with Shane getting the tart beatin out of him. At least it helps Orton keep the momentum he had, but now you have Orton, who cant even beat Shane with Priceless interfearing, along with the fact only reason he won was last gasping breath top pull off the RKO. Like i said even if it wouldve been even at first, then a major beatdown, that couldve worked, but Shane came out looking better then Orton did.

Couldn't agree with you anymore I don't see what people saw in this ppv was it terrible no was it great no it was in between and was OK to decent at best since the only matches that were good were the Chamber matches. The Smackdown one was good at best like you said, I gave it a solid 3 and the Raw chamber was very good but not excellent like some people have said but that is just my opinion. I viewed the show overall as a 6.5/10. I think many rated it so high cause of the outcomes not quality.

I dont see the unpredictability. Only thing that was unpredictable, was Edge loosing in the first match. Either the swerves were blatantly obvious, or i was able to call them before anyone else could. So therefore i have more of a reason to dislike this show.

I agree that the show is overrated. But I'd say it's better than a 4. 6 to a 6.5 I feel is more appropriate. The SD! Chamber had a good last half as the first half was just awful. Shane/Orton with the exception of the booking was good. The RAW Chamber was overall decent but not amazing. Everything else was boring.

its not so much that i hated the ppv. i hated the outcome. im actually okay with edge winning. i new it was goin to happen and im glad it did. i hated the fact that HHH won. it just totally pissed me off but once again, not suprised. finlay and swagger = totally boring. shane definately should not have that much offense on orton. jbl vs hbk wasnt too bad, im just glad that stupid storyline is done! i dont think the taker vs hbk match should happen unless its either one of their last match.

I think that 9/10 was very overrated as well. I gave mine a 7.5 which meant barely reccomended only because of the swerves and how the two chamber turned out in match quality. I rated the sd chamber 4 stars instead of 3 only beacuse i felt taker/hhh's stand off at the end saved it and was very well put together despite the finish. it got me thinking at some pts at the end that taker would win, so with that suspense in me i believed it deserved a bump in the rating IMO.

you should watch Raw... it answers a lot. And I thought it was a really good pay per view... and I didn't know Edge was going to win. I really thought Jericho or Rey had a shot. They really could have turned Edge losing twice into a story line of him going crazy and losing his mind on Smackdown and snaps once and for all. So i really didn't know what they were going to do at the end.
