Is the intention what counts not just the contanct, that's why diving counts as a huge foult cause the referee can't really judge; in here Pereira didn't get a yellow card cause he didn't simulate anything he jumps he just to dodge a crytical foult.

That's why I think there are some rules that should change, getting a yellow card for atempting a hard foult on other player even without contact is ok but if he brakes the other player's leg that's a lifetime ban imho and that rarely happens.
