WOW! This stuff is unreal. I'm a rock bassist convert who's fairly new to jazz, and trying to wrap my head around the rhythms in "Raggy Waltz" blew my mind. I decided to just forget about understanding right now and just enjoy. ;)
Awesome, thanks for posting. Dave said it best when he said that in order to Jazz to evolve, time signatures must be challenged and experimented with.

You can really hear the rag vs waltz from 6:00- 6:30.

@janken919 The timing changes from rag time (2/4) to waltz (3/4). It also sounds like some Paul's solos are in 4/4. Just listen to the drummer!
