I am curious why the "faux bread" recipes always seem to have separated eggs. Would you happen to know why? Why is fluffing the whites so important? if i didn't do this would the result be ruined? It is "merange" right?

I'm pretty lazy, I use leaves of lettuce. Tastes better than any low carb bread.
